Well, in Blender you need to press smooth button on left when in object mode (not in edit mode) then you often need to add edge split modifier to it, and adjust angle until you like it, without edge split it tends to be dark spots in wrong places.
Little teaser for a junkyard section of the map. Not really gonna be a big area, but a cramped one with a ton of trash, junk, and a piles of garbage to fly off of.
accidentally timed the music perfectly Working on Balloon "lifts". They drop you in places you wouldn't normally be able to get to by car, who knows, you might end up somewhere interesting.
Everyone bow before me for I am now a Blender master. no it doesn't use visual mesh collisions I swear
Hahaha awesome man! Hey so the balloon lift deal, those are teleporters!? I didn't know such a feature existed!
It's just a LUA Trigger that basically tells the game to respawn the player at [x]. You can open Tavaci Monadnock and rip the code from there should you so choose. c:
Sorry to sound ignorant, but I assume, "Tavaci Monadnock" is a map? And that's very cool about the teleporting, didn't know that was a thing as I said. Although I guess that's what that "set home" stuff is with the car spawn wheel thing that I never ever use =D --- Post updated --- Quick Google solved that one for me, hah! Sorry about that
Preliminary assembly for some big rally/derby stuff. Kinda based on MSMV's Festival, although not quite as expansive. Plan is to make it larger and change some of the flags/tents/etc to fit the map more.
So... I have to pretty much rebuild the terrain. Took some time to flatten out the terrain, I'll have to go into details later. For now... this is all I have to share: Its the fastest thing in BeamNG.
my question is how in the heccs do you have the drive to continue? you made so much progress and then poof didnt the wind get taken outa your sails a bit? by all means keep going, but still.
Most certainly. But there's not much I could do about it other than just restart. Sometimes you're dealt a bad hand, just gotta play it anyway.
I like the attitude. but moreover, bad hands are something im used to at this point. insert when ever i play any sort of game involving gambling
Upon remaking Fumarole Gully, I decided to go for a little bit more of a "dead" look to it. The areas surrounding the sulfur geysers are covered in slick sulfur compounds with extremely nasty water surrounding them. The general area leading into the entire gully gets progressively more "dead" looking (with an increasing number of dead douglas trees and bushes)
Full release? Probably lookin at months. Pre-releases (alpha/beta/etc)? Maybe in a couple weeks, hard to tell. --- Post updated --- @Sithhy™ So I take it you like the map?
Just for fun Laying out a dirt track area here. Actually having a ton of fun with this area. Debating on whether or not to leave this area (relatively) open as a dedicated track-builder track area. Open to opinions, though.
