Former car enthusiast in favor of walkable environments.
The 2CV by Citroën was the real people’s car, not Volkswagen, which was made for the highway (terrible for the environment). Not the Mini nor the Fiat 500 (Autobello Piccolina) for those were designed with city driving in mind (city streets should be for pedestrians).
No, with a top speed of 37-40 mph and averaging 60 mpg, the original 2CV was designed with a cloth roof for farmers to transport awkward loads to town.Interact
