    Hi there !

I finally decided to post my unfinished map here to motivate myself and reap some constructive criticism.

It is therefore a fictitious archipelago based on real Brittany islands (in France), arranged so as to highlight the gameplay.

    mappres1.png . mappres2.png

Speaking of gameplay, the map will be oriented coastal tourism / off-road / flight, with an asphalt circuit and a Banger circuit with its muddy derby destruction pit.

Also, don't mind about the lack of vegetation/rocks, I prefer to make it in the last times ;3

So here's the presentation !

    -------------------------------------------------

The archipelago has a small town on the largest island. In the process of expansion, as can be seen on the screens, new public housings will soon be established on the East Coast. There are still just a few inhabitants, the airfield and the port are the only means to reach the continent.

    mappres33.png mappres34.png

Tourism buffs will be able to roam the coast and the beaches before taking a break in the shadow of a waterfall, while the enthusiast 4 wheels drive pilot will be happy to jump over a sinked boat (since a skipper a little too ambitious wanted to reach the heart of the atoll), or clean their tires on the tarmac of the airfield before beating a new record for climbing to the lake.

    mappres35.png mappres37.png . mappres36.png

    mappres38.png mappres39.png

The most competitive of you will not be left with several tracks that will soon be asked and dug for your enjoyment. We already have packages filled with bumper stickers for you <3

So, make Brittanic tourism lives by staying tuned of what is happening on BZH Archipel!

    mappres40.png

    -------------------------------------------------

PS : Don't mind about the aircraft carrier posted just next to the archipelago, it's a beautiful target for other jealous countries but you're almost completely safe, until the nuclear reactors crack down :3

Just received a message from the Relief & Cliffs Supervisors telling me that the Archipelago wa way too flat to be fun, so we brought 11,000 tons of rock and soil to add some off-road no-really-roads and a shiny way to go thtough the cliffs :3

    beamagain2.png

Be sure that we'll bring even more relief to the Archipelago for your pleasure ;3

Hello, friends from the west coast seen from the east of those who are even more to the west!

The community of municipalities of the Brittany Archipelago has good news for you!

Asphalt has been laid, steps mounted, roundabout turned and track tested!

    beam35.png

The work is going well and I am pleased to announce that the circuit will be ready once the government has reauthorized tourists landed on our beautiful piece of end of the world!

I leave you with some promising photos of incalculable lap times. And yes, you can run several at the same time of course!

    beam33.png beam36.png beam37.png

In addition, Relief & Cliffs Supervisors and 11,000 tons of loose stones have served and now is a very nice scenic route that takes you to the steps of our beautiful track!

    beam38.png

But remember, when you're not on the track, buckle up and drive carefully!

    beam34.png

Have a great day, here TarTi from the Brittany Archipelago!

Wow, thank you, such a compliment ! Even more from a 1,650 + 2 years old profile owner I guess ^w^'

Anyway, I made the photos that the tourist agency told me to do to attract, in order : 1) hot asphalt addicts, 2) rednecks in coal burners, and 3) booooooringly slow, way-too-large-for-that-roads and not-keeping-their-right-side tourists.

    beam40.png beam41.png beam42.png

Nice day on the islands ! <3

I'm still affraid about the length of my track, I think you will find it way too short... What is a regular lap time for you ?

Less than 1 minute will look small or if you can also use it as a drift pad it's ok
Really looking forward to drive in Bretagne again

Okay, it's quite close so, maybe I'll modify the track to make it longer. And it's pretty cool to drift on it, even if I'm still not really good for it in this game for now.

Ahah you know it ? Which side have you visited ? :3 You'll be able to run BZH coasts again ;3

I visited St-Malo, Brest and some other places when I was a child.
I used to work in Lannion before.

Hello, dear future tourists, we are still working to offer you the most beautiful AND safe trip, so we decided to put some railguards on the racetrack and modify some circulation rules in the city, hope you'll enjoy them !

    beam43.png pouet.png beam44.png

We also have tested the racetrack and it took us 1 minute and 5 seconds to complete a lap with a stopped start, letting the rear train having some fun on big turns...

We are still thinking about making it longer, like by passing through a tunnel, and we would greatly appreciate your opinion !

Take care and have a nice daaay !

    Good neeeeeews, everyone !

Just a little note from the Brittany Archipelago Tourism Agency ; we're happy to tell you that you will now have a place to sleep, so you will be able to stay even longer to enjoy our roads !

Indeed, despite very bad first plans of our Italian architect, we worked hard to offer you the first hotel on the island !

Our new hotel will be ready to give you some rest while still having a beautiful view on our islands... So pre-order your nights right now ! :D

    Hello there !

I have a good new, and a bad new for you today.

Having found that the forecast balance sheet was more than satisfactory, the Brittany Archipelago and Beam Holidays Resorts have decided to partner to offer you a second hotel, larger and more luxurious for the most fortunate of you!

The work has already advanced and it is a magnificent view that will be waiting for you from your balcony!

    hotelnew.png

That said, the hotel is still under construction, some drivers unfortunately have already chosen this place as a race track, which has now cost the life of one of our Gendarmerie officers.

We all have a thought for this man who has offered his life for the safety of our citizens AND our dear guests.

Here some pictures caught by workers on the construction site :

    hotelpursuit1.png hotelpursuit3.png hotelpursuit4.png

So, do not forget, be careful on the road, and have a nice day!

Hello, I'm not the guy from the tourism office :p

Seriously, I'm a bit stuck in how to increase LoD distance for my fences.. It's quite annoying during races to have the landscape still making things appear.. I searched into the.dae file, the material.cs and the object .cs file but nothing.. Any idea ? :3

    hey hello buddy!

I take advantage that my cousin - yknow, the guy from the tourist office- went to piss to steal his computer

I annoy you just 5 minutes just to tell you that yesterday, well that was fun, we brought back the digger and a gravel trailer and we did a little circuit not far from the airfield, you will have to come have a ride when you get off! We can mess around by dabbing a little, if you know what I mean ahahahah!

I leave you the pictures we made, ahah we were drunk we had a good time!

    See you !

PS : I'm not driving in the pics, was way too drunk ahahah! That's 6 friends taking some risks!

(I'm a bit tired, so no roleplaying the tourisme office guy tonight... Today... Well, some pics of what I've done lastly)

New top view of the map. As we can see, there is 75/80 % static objects done, still vegetation to do after :

    topview2.png

And here is the top view of the new track, the Rallycross concrete/gravel with a bit of sand & mud bumps :

    topviewrallycross.png

mud/sand part looks terrible in top view but pretty fine when you're over there :

    mudsand.png

The crosslines works well, AI still can don't want to do the jump but will follow the good road (95 % will jump on first lap, 90 % second, and less and less due to damages and not enough speed left). They can go too fast and go wrong way after a violent crash, but you just need to set the risk parameter to fix it. Normally, with random cars and the risk at 2 for everybody, it will be cool to watch or participate. I already tried it sooooo many times, quite fun to watch 6 AI fight in this track.

    rallycross7.png

I also (finally) found how to use more or less correctly the particles emitters, so the waterfalls are nicer now :D :

    new_waterfalls.png

This last find gave me a good boost of motivation, cause I love to decorate, but I was doing too much the same thing.

Anyway, hope you enjoy what you've seen :3 See you !
