So I have a car here that needs to be faster than 9 seconds on the quarter mile. Its a 1968 Calvinator Model C R Warrior for a film I am working on. I believe the issue could be because I am using a PC that doesn't even meet the minimum requirements for Automation. Anyway, here is the automation file and beamng mod as is.

Unzip the ModelC-CalsRWarrior.zip and you will find a .car file to import into automation.

So... Basically it just needs to be faster than 9 seconds on a 1/4 mile? Like i also could just use AWD and a modern V10 sportscar engine?

Okay, altough I see potential for optimisation (do the weels have to be so big and the brakes so small?)... without doing anything i managed 8.9s on a quater mile with the starting checkpoint being actually a bit before the starting line and also by shifting myself at the first try (lap 1 for setting checkpoints, lap 2... duh and lap 3 the quater mile... So yeah I guess i'll just add a bit more grip i guess.

Ok, so now the shiftup speed is a bit increased and the car makes just a little bit more power. At 6200. the turbos will put a short burst of torque in and the air drag of the weels is smaller.
So the time isn't much better (8.93 instead of 8.98) but you get this time in like 7 or 8 out of 10 tries and not just in 3 out of 10 like before.
Also i noticed that i'm really not a pro when it comes to dragsters^^
But I hope it helped anyway

It looks good. So, it actually has to have RWD cause the engine was too big for AWD, and I looked at a V10, and saw it actually go slower with a V10. I was trying to shave weight where ever I can, so that's why the is so little breaks, and the bigger wheels got better torque. Can you put up pictures of what you did on here and the export file for Automation? It looks like we finally got it. It just needed to be faster than 9 seconds on the 1/4 mile. Thanks.

PS: what was it's top speed, max horse power and torque?

So i didn't made much using automation expect for 50hp more and i'm not even sure if this is the version i used. I changed These values in the jbeam file, because otherwise i would more or less have to redesign the thing completely which isnt necessary. By the way every beamng.drive zip still has the .car file for automation in it.
