Hey everyone! My 1050p generic Acer V223w monitor may be giving out as it's been flickering on eplilepsy levels for a couple days now. I have pretty much always disliked this monitor, what would be the best 1080p replacement for under 100 dollars? Used is ok but i seriously don't have a giant budget. Is there a way to save my monitor?
The backlight is probably failing. You can replace it if you want, be extremely careful, especially if the power supply is built into the monitor. As for a new/used monitor, if you want response time, and don't care about color (and I mean not a care at all, they'll be bad) any TN panel you can find on Amazon or Newegg at your price point. Otherwise, go used, Craigslist. 1080p 21.5" used monitors should be around $80-100.
