i want to learn the basics of puting a object into beamng and i will never relese the mod and i dont have time to make a custom jbeam
The disgusting basics: 1. Find the zip for the 200bx 2. Open it and look for the .dae file. Take the largest if there are multiple. 3. Open the .dae in blender 4. Replace all the meshes in it with yours but preserve the names 5. Save 6. Launch beamng 7. Find out your mod is shit 8. You didn't replace the textures did you? 9. Repair the game using steam 10. Get absolutely roasted by this community. Good luck. I suggest doing what I'm doing. Take a vehicle with the FEATURES you want, find out how they work and make them yourself. Alternatively use a drivetrain or chassis and modify it.

Well making a meshslap is not the basics of learning how to mod. You’re just overwriting shit. You don’t learn anything from it. It’s best if you read the wiki instead of just saying “Oh look at me I made a mod” when you really just threw something over game files you need. Either do it properly, or make yourself look like a fool.
