Spent ages trying to get the DT35SE to run well on ~350nm torque and 175hp but it is just too damn heavy, it's quite sprightly when at 6 tonnes, but add a body and you are looking at 8 tonnes even without a roof and the performance just dies from that point forward.. the 4.5L engine will have to do should i release it? Even though the performance is abysmal? I was going to do it as a MK2 DT35SE that weighs circa 7.5 tonnes but that is just wayy too light for the wentwards construction for it even to be possible
BeamNG - My Mods - 8x8 BigRig Offroader Progress #18 - Modeled some frames for the seats to bolt on to. - Texture unwrapped the outer panels of the truck - Made a dirt skin for the truck - Removed the engines turbo (no turbo for this truck) - Added a Heavy Duty upgrade for the engine internals (max speed 350km/h) - Added Hydros beams to the rear gate (Open & Close) - Made a new gearbox texture (a bit darker)
yes, mirror modifier created bruccurb lol its temporary uv maps, of course im adding that when I learn how to do uvs. When I get on my pc sure, it still needs a ton or work, it also deforms like chocolate on the back.
sneek peek of design change: Shorter and wider popup headlights, (reminds me of alpine A610) Spoiler: Dont get exieted (how to spell that?)
Well, with a turbo you could always put it somewhere else, even outside the engine bay (seen it done on a Jeep SRT; it was placed right before the muffler) & since this is a game, there would be no turbo lag
OKAY, here is the deal, I do not want to redo all the piping (3D models) and redo the J-beam structurs for the turbo and pipes, there now you all know
Send the mod, I will give it a 12 turbo layout with all the exhaust spaghetti for you :') OT: not much, I made the front suspension for the Fintray a bit more stable but I'm short on time these days.
thank you for offering to do it, but it will be a lot of work (all the parts must be J-beamed to have collision so it can collide with rest of the engine and piping) So are you sure you are up for this??
Should be fine if I have time. *Checks agenda* Is 2023 good? (I really should stop starting more mod things while trying to do more stuff irl too) Jokes aside, that looks pretty neat. I do wonder if you aren't using a bit too many nodes? Or are you trying to make it as detailed as possible while giving a negative amount of fucks about possible performance issues?
