v- 0.15.0.(5 --> 6) update/hotfix: Anyone else notice 'slightly' lower FPS?

Hello folks,

The subject title speaks for itself. I'm not talking a ton... (maybe "minus-10-to-15" frames at the most)?

I don't know if it's my imagination, or my computer is already sub-par and in dire need of CPU/GPU upgrade-- so I'm looking for any excuse to defend it. Or there truly has been a slight degradation in frame rates, as the hotfix is an in-process thing, as they continue to clean up the version?

Has anyone else noticed a slight drop since the new hotfix install this past week? Just curious.

BTW... Can I cherry-pick which versions of the game I might want to revert back to (like 0.15.0.5-- just to test my theory?), or only v 0.14.0.5 is available; (for the Dx10'ers) ? Hmm... at the end of the day, I don't think it's worth going back that far, just for a perceived 10fps gain-- all of which might be in my head anyways.

Have not noticed this. FPS seems about the same to me, both perceived and measured on the in-game Ctrl-F counter. The two frequently don't match up.

I have received a larger monitor, and played BeamNG.drive, it became more laggier for some reason.

 

Maybe because now you're running at a higher resolution?

To the OP, I haven't noticed a drop in FPS with the latest update. Keep in mind that Windows can be doing a lot of things in the background, like a Windows Update, anti-virus scan or whatnot. Make sure you're not evaluating the frame rate in the middle of one of those.
