You know how people post things people would want in the game? Let's do the opposite!

women and minori... Ah, yeah, for real? i guess bikes. Until they add human drivers i dont think that bikes would make much sense. Another thing i would not like to see added is more over the top scenarios and maps. I am a fan of realism.

Huh, this thread seems reasonable. I don't want anymore pointless features like track builder. It's a nice concept, but I think it veers away from what the game/simulator was intended to be.

This is an opinion that I see a lot and never understood. The physics sim hasn't changed at all, and the track builder can be used to make reasonable tracks without getting into modded map making. There's some great off road tracks made with it for example. The track builder is also fun for testing out things that you always hear about, like "such and such car has enough downforce to drive upside down" or similar hollywood stunts like loops and TStabbert's frictionless tracks. Plus, its just fun to loosen up and see if a car under realistic physics could make it around a course that's rather silly and couldn't be built IRL due to financial constraints, saftey concerns, and silly thing's like that which we do not need to worry about in a video game. Just because it is a sim doesn't mean there can't be some just for fun stuff.

To start things off: Paid DLC, humans, blood, and gore.

Second, I'm not really a big fan of the Bus Route mode. You can almost do the same thing in Freeroam, except that you're just picking up nonexistant passengers.

Not humans, but I would like the crash dummy driver/passenger mod to be part of the full game tbh.

    1 word: Scope.

The scope of the game has to be some where specific, else its not gonna be able to focus on doing many things right at the same time. If the game suddenly started to make and add planes into the game some area else would have to take a hit for what its not being developed.

I agree with all except humans. I dont even like dummies. I want humans.

True, but if the game wanted to be publically released with the feature (by Pegi 3/ESRB E standards) either dummies or unknown people in, say, racing suits would be almost a nescesity.

But the same could be said in regard to humans: the addition of them would sidetrack greatly from the vehicle sim BNGDrive is, not to mention all the time and resources needed to create humans that are detailed yet optimized.

Now one thing I don't want in BNG is a "cliche" storyline in the career mode. You are and undercover cop trying to infiltrate the baddies yada yada yada yada.... it's been used excessively these days and only fits into part of what BNG is/can be.

Dummies and racing suits are still considered humans to Pegi 3 and ESRB standards. There are countless threads on why there are no dummies and racing suits and they all contain this same answer.
OT: I completely agree with the paid DLC.

I mildly agree, from what I heard some hollywood stuntmen trust beam to test stunts before doing irl stuff. Not sure on the truthfulness of it, but if so, a track builder isn't that bad of an idea.

I really hope the devs will find a way to prevent the screenshot actions to appear in some shots when the game lags. I don't think they are so important in the first place.

You just have to be very careful when hitting those buttons, the mouse cursor must move away before the small lag happens

I believe @CrimsonCrocodile posted an at the time, recent news thing or something with the BeamNG staff. Pretty sure they said that vaguely "Hollywood" has asked them to actually do some shots, that would be shown in the movie/show. If that's true, than I wouldn't be surprised if they atleast use BeamNG to simulate stunts. It's just atleast $25 and a bit of skill in World Editor to make the scene instead of going into some CGI editor to make or paste a physics engine, probably spending thousands or millions of dollars.

At the same time, could be studios on a much lesser budget than giants that deal with BeamNG.

Also, with the human topic, I'm personally not sure. Dummies fit more with BeamNG's ideas (I think) than humans; a crash simulator, but there's more. You can also show as much with a dummy than a human in crash accidents...except for gore, but....no...

Humans doesn't mean gore needs to be added. There could be no dismemberment and no blood but the human body shaping weirdly, or have it like street legal racing redline where the character would be more like a metal frame painted as a human that would never truly bend in weird shapes. I think that the shape of a human inside the car is very important.

I think there should be no blood/gore and that humans will be confined to career mode.. i could see in half a decade or so where computers have got faster (like a lot more cores etc) a city map with pedestrians, but they are non-hittable, they run at like crazy speed away from your car so they are impossible to run over..

How about someone just makes a human skin pack thingy for the dummy. Instead of death, just odd "The Ring" twisting and....yea.
