Decided to update some stuff on this car. I will probably use the ESBR drivetrain components and hopefully use the driving mode thing in the future. It currently has 2 electric motors, multilink suspension and hydro-coils(?). Airbags didn't work as I wanted, hydros do . It has two open diffs, might change them to lockable diffs since I can't get the traction control to work nicely when two diagonal wheels are spinning
Would be funny if there was a part named "dashboard things" in vehicle customisation menu. Anyways, great job!
The 3.0 diesel etk engine makes quite a good fit in the DT35SE... derated to 475nm and 220hp though for realism but damn 475nm can really make it feel sluggish, it's only 20hp less than the 4.5 cummins, but the cummins has 850nm behind it and thus it feels a lot better.. also put a 2.8 cummins iSF in there, but that was a pain and it just wouldn't go fast enough, sticking to 185hp and it still is sluggish.. 185hp is suitable for a circa 8 tonne bus.. and that 2.8 only had 400nm max torque, so it was kickdown everywhere with 9 tonnes... the 2.8 has a flat torque curve, so if you start losing steam up a hill, it won't give any more torque as the rpm drops, you just hope that the next lower gear comes soon so even though it's 185hp, it's avg 160-170hp accounting for shifts.. the ETK has a flat torque curve also, so if you are accelerating, and say go to 2500rpm, then it shifts and thus drops to 1800rpm, no more torque is available so acceleration dies a bit... it's different wouldn't say bad.. will have to see what the fuel consumption is like
The whole solid axle setup on the B1 looks a bit wonky... but atleast it works (mind the pink parts, I can't be bothered to fix them)
