BeamNG.drive doesn't have the best tire physics. Is it possible to make it better with a mod? If it has been done could i have a link?
You might find this data interesting, tire physics appear to be actually much better than most out there: https://www.beamng.com/threads/guys-come-to-talk-about-tires.58720/page-2#post-949560
I feel like it's more ground physics that are more difficult than tire physics. Hell, for all I know, there's some pdf out there with calculations for a corner at every MPH.
Temp stuff I guess is like they are now at optimal temp pretty much constantly, but then again tire smoke is initiated when nodes heat up, so I don't really know, but I know that many don't even realize how well these tires replicate real thing and my brain is way too mushy to comprehend it all. What I know is that handling is incredible when you have all settings right, like FOV, FFB, brakes, suspension, etc. It just is not very easy to find that perfect balance and in this game node beam structure affects handling too, something no other game really has, they do have some super simplistic chassis flex models, but nothing even comparable to this complexity BeamNG has. Will be really interesting to see how handling is when tires etc. are complete.
its hard to judge tires when everything changes handling on your own end. From the car, to the suspension settings that you picked, to the force feedback of the game, everything changes what you could consider "realistic behaviour" or not.
