Here's the deal; I want to create a single-pedal car, and I plan to do this by having the brakes begin engaging at 20% throttle, increasingly engaging as you let off, up to maximum brake at 0% throttle. How could I do this? It's purely for experimental reasons; I have a specific Automation car that I jam all sorts of pointless Jbeam edits onto for experiments; speed limiter, 4 wheel steering, progressive suspensions, supercharging, CVT transmission, and some other stuff, and I wanna see if I can't add single pedal driving to that list.
I'm not sure if it can be done by jbeam editing but you can set throttle controls to mouse y-axis and make it start at 20% and set the brake so it starts at 0% and goes to 20% (invert axis). It isn't really something special but depending on your controller (preferably if you have steering wheel and pedals) you can make all cars have the one pedal control. I hope this helps Cheers!
That would be changing the controls locally though. As in, it would only affect my computer. I'm aiming to get the car to do this all by itself, by mapping the brake axis directly inverted to the throttle axis, with a bit of a limiter
