I really miss my old car. Like, a lot. I miss rowing through the gears, clutch kicking... I had my first kiss in it. I learned how to wire a stereo with it. Had my first proper car crash in it. Did my first modification to it. Cannonballed a 12 hour road trip with it, and broke down for the first time in it. I went drag racing for the first time with it (legally, anyway). I went to the mountains, had my first major argument with an SO, chipped my first windshield, and hit my first coyote with it. Why must good things come to an end? Why did I sell it? It went to a college kid 7 hours away. They're going to destroy my precious Millie. I need to buy it back. I MUST buy it back. I miss it way too much. I don't care if I don't have a use for two cars, I need to have my Millie back.
I just realized that the second gen Nissan Sentra's front end looks a lot like the ETK I-series. Thoughts?
Focus Interactive is holding a What's Next event today and tomorrow, they will be announcing MR2 and the next free DLC for MR. Still a bit worried about MR2 but it's more dev news than BeamNG/Wreckfest have had, so I am very excited. Been checking their forums obsesively this morning.
So I'm trying to set myself up with a small Windows tablet for work. I have an Ematic EWT732BL that I replaced the battery in. Trouble is: I may have shorted a power pin to the ground plate with solder. I think this because it doesn't power on connected via USB to a supply with the battery disconnected like it should (and has done previously). I knew something was up when it had a 15 minute standby time, then never turned on again. Bugger.
And my new-to-me watercooled GTX 1080 SeaHawk is installed!!!! Now I have an excuse to go high refresh rate.
Now that Oovee has announced they will restart development of their version of Spintires, I've been poking around their forums lately. I have no idea what is going on, even by the standards of modern society/internet comment section, it's seriously strange... Most of the comments (which are only about one a week...) are just making up stuff about Focus Interactive/Mudrunner to hate on. Knowing how sketchy Oovee can be, I would assume they are putting the anti MR comments up, but with how few people acually visit that forum I don't see why a company would bother with it. This game has more drama surrounding it than I ever saw in school...
