Yes. But now I'm more focused on the H.O.S car production. So far it's doing well, selling a bunch of cars per year
*finds out about storm* *reverses Pessima into garage so quickly that I hit the wall and scratch my rear bumper* *also reverses Regency into the wall* Ah.. two holes in my wall plus potential house repairs from the storm.
* Turns on the radio to hear the thunderstorm warning with 4-5 inches of water* Oh no, my money! * I go to Sprawl-Mart to buy multiple Beamlite Waterproof containers * * I then drive over to the storage unit where a large portion of my money is * * I stuff all of it into them * Phew! now I just need to put the soft top on my hopper so it doesn't get soaked * Goes home and quickly does that * Now I can ride out this storm
-finishing up engine swap- -turns on radio- I swear, if it's another political scandal... "Breaking News: Severe thunderstorms expected to hit ECA within the next 2 days. Up to 12" of rain and wind speeds of 80 MPH have been forecasted to occur on April 15-17. An unnecessary travel ban has been issued by Mayor tdev of ECA." Oh boy. Now that doesn't sound good. Lucky thing i moved out of ECA. I doubt my house would have stood up to that at all.
Just closed up shop at the Sprawl Mart. I kept it open until midnight tonight, usually we close at 10:30. I can see the clouds rolling in, and it's starting to get windy. This will certainly be interesting.
-On my way to the store to get extra food and water- Wow, it got really foggy and the temperature dropped incredibly! -Heading back to my truck after buying items for the store- How'd it get so dark!? That's scary. I think I'm going to put the truck in the barn and take the Hopper out to park at the house. *Parks truck* *Starts Hopper up* *Drives Hopper a few feet over to my house* *Wind picks up and it begins to sprinkle* I made it home just in time. *Walks into house and shuts the door* *Starts pouring outside* Yup! Definitely made it home in time!
Currently still don't know what is going on, but I know is that stuff is change a bit. Thinking about getting my old life back, still I'm on a hill next to the radio tower, and The Burnside is gone, IDK where it goes, but all I know is sometimes gets in trouble.
*Character swap I think its best to leave him or IDK, still what I know is the weather of the east coast. IDK what to do today.
The Sprawl Mart is closed for the next two days, and so are pretty much all the other stores. Stay safe guys, it's starting to really get windy here. Some of the lower roads are starting to flood a little.
My house in ECA is open if anyone needs to seek shelter from the storm. *Wind picks up and tree uproots and flies across yard* Oh, that's not exactly good.
I will, don't wo... *Drives through some walls* --- Post updated --- WHOA! --- Post updated --- Where's your house: in the countryside or in town?
* Gets a phone call at 2:AM from my good friend * He probably wants me to film him race on the empty highways again * Picks up the phone and finds out that his river front home is on the verge of flooding * * I Tell him I'll be right there in about 30 mins * * I get into my Truck and race onto the interstate on 4/Hi to prevent a spinout * * I arrive and my truck barley makes it through the flooded side roads * Friend: Can I put some of my stuff into the back of your truck? Me: Yeah, just be quick. I'm not dealing with flood damage on my truck. * We arrive at my home with all of his stuff now in the garage and he sleeps in the guest bedroom *
Yeah, that's not good. Damage seems fairly minimal, just a little scraping. Nothing some touchup paint can't fix. Still, not good. My house is taking a little bit of a beating, I guess my 30 year old windows aren't so watertight anymore. Some main roads are definitely flooding but my side road is higher up. I'm in the clear for now.
Oh, well you kinda described a Hurricane. Anyway. Unlucky me irl I'm in the Hurricane State itself Florida so I might prepare before an actual one Edit: But at least I live in Pacifica State in 1997.
