Sup! I use a maxed out Lenovo Legion Y530 Gaming Laptop and I wanna know if it's up to par with your rigs, just out of curiosity. | Stats | CPU: Intel Core i7-8750H @2.2 GHZ GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1060 RAM: 16GB Storage Drives: 1TB HDD & 500GB High Speed SSD I can get 60FPS on high settings most of the time... but my CPU isn't the best so I can only (I say only like this is nothing sorry) run 6 AI cars at once including me and I've seen over 20 done by some of my friends less powerful rigs at high settings. honestly I just what o know how my laptop ranks up against the community 's rigs so yeah, let's see! maybe ill make a leaderboard on most powerful rigs,(not sure if I'll do it out of raw power or like 3D Mark scores or something) (Also I just joined after playing this game for a few years, am I late to the party?) Thanks! - ANYW
It’s pretty good. Mine has a gtx 1080 ftw and a ryzen 5 1600, so it has a better gpu and a (sort of) slightly less powerful cpu. It’s a desktop, however. Exactly which laptop do you have?
R5 1600 still blows the 8750H out of the water, well maybe not completely, but it's faster.. comparing 45w chip to 65w chip it's not much of a contest.. the R5 hopefully never has to worry about overheating..
True but than again, it is a consumer laptop so Im not expecting like mega fast ROG gaming performance, but it’s okay for the price. I do get your point though, a 65w chip is HOT!
ROG doesn't necessarily mean performance. The best example is the ryujin cooler, which is an overpriced asetek cooler with a screen
again, true, I'm really just going by stereotypes anyways... you have a lot more knowledge than I do lol
Well your laptop is pretty comparable to my desktop, my i3 is not close to as fast but my GPU is slightly faster...
Yeah I wouldn't expect an i3 to be that fast, but it's really good for games that don't need a lot of graphical computing power, like web browser games, and stuff like for lack of better examples because I don't know a lot of games, Roblox, Minecraft, etc because they're cheap and easy to find, so your rig isn't actually that bad, pretty solid!
Thanks man, the i3 is serving me well so far, I'm keeping it aboard until I can find a decent i5 because I'm starting to notice some bottlenecking when running Beam or other CPU heavy games. It's a great chip for lower end rigs and it generates almost no heat or wattage. I don't think it's ever been over 73C with the stock cooler.
That's a pretty good laptop. My laptop is a Dell G7 with pretty much the same numbers and stats. Good on you! I do have a question though: does your Legion heat up a lot, by any chance?
it keeps pretty cool surprisingly... sometimes if I'm really cranking down on it, it gets super hot, but that's not often. and thanks for the compliment
