Note: this is not meant to be a proper mod with all the game features. This is virtual representation of an RC car made by Columba Racing team from Slovakia, which participated at 2019 world finals of Land Rover's 4x4 in schools competition and took 4th place out of 22 teams total. The in-game model is meant to behave as similarly as possible to the real model, but it is not made to be deformable. My original plan was to make it in real size (around 18x35 cm), but due to instability reasons it was not possible so I made it in size of real-life pickup. Features of the in-game car Full-time 4WD and locked differentials (basically just solid axles) Beam front and rear axle with simplified 4 link suspension Adjustable ride height AWS and three steering modes Foldable tow hitch Update 1.1 Increased engine torque If you find any major issues, I will fix them. But besides that I don't plan doing any more work on this mod.
Back when I was 10ish I raced trophy trucks rc's with my dad and brother. I also had an old Traxxas summit crawler with diff locks, high and low gearing, and 2 or 4 wheel drive. The thing I remember about it the most was the torque, my dad pulled me around with it while I was laying on the ground the day I got it it was crazy. Knowing all this and having seen a lot of videos in 1/10th scale crawlers I would have to say this is pretty accurate on flex, speed for a crawler (would be closer to 10-15 though), and scaling. The only issue is it has very low torque for some reason. I would try to make the engine produce a bit more torque. Other then that great mod. Also your welcome for my life's story.
