Working on Burnside and ETK I-Series sounds. The low rpm sounds for the burnside needs some tuning but otherwise coming along well. ETK I-Series sounds:
The WentWard sounds are getting upgraded... It sounds somewhat muffled but suits the bus well. Definitely better than the old sounds. Working on sounds for the miramar and civetta at this point. The "Stage 1 Engine Block" sounds are ported over to "Stock Engine Block" now. The modifications made includes the engine being quieter overall and less of an intake noise. The hissing noise at idle has also been fixed.
Can't wait for the new sounds to be released! Especially the ETK I-series, since there are only few sound mods for it and they don't quite fit the model IMO, but you nailed it! I mostly use your mod as for sounds, because it brings BeamNG to a whole different level of immersion Appreciate your work, keep it up.
keep it up! your the best sound modder ever! i use your sound mod in every of the vehicle it has, they are way better then the vanilla sound, and no other sound mod can compete with yours!
how is this working on the new update? I have it installed but have not been home in a few days, no chance to check if its still working or not.
@CP100 do you mind if i include the 8.9 Diesel sound in my Wentward powertrain mod? I'll mention you in the mod description. The sound is so good imo, that i just want everyone to hear it when using that particular engine!
I'm giving the Wentward new sounds in my next update for these sounds. Might as well use the new sounds. ' I scrapped the Burnside sounds and put new sounds. Sounds are inspired from a 65' Mustang. T-Series is also getting updated sounds inspired by a Kenworth W900.
Hmm, i think i might use the old wentward sounds, the engine sounds really smooth on there, the new sound is a bit rough.. Old sounds (or current sound) would go well with my old engine for the wentward, smooth torquey engine with lots of inertia, but drinks diesel New sounds would go well with the current engine in the wentward, rather high specific output, revvy engine, not as much inertia. The new sounds go well with replacing the default engine. And the T series sounds, they sound well uh delicious
The new update features the ability to mix two different sounds (engine + exhaust) for a car. Using the I4_Engine and the H4 for the exhaust for Autobello makes driving this car awesome. I had a Fiat 600 4cyl (inline) and sounds exactly like that. I love it! I can't wait for the new V8 sound tho.
I only drive cars that are available with this mod because it sounds so good! Would really love to see support for more vehicles!
Hey guys! You all might be asking the same question which is "what's taking so long to update the sound mod?" Well, I'm running out of sounds from a file pack I have to put in the vanilla cars. (Finally found the right sounds for the Civetta) I just need to find the appropriate sounds for the Barstow and find decent 4-cylinder sounds for the newer pessima and the sunburst. (Scrapped the sounds for the sunburst for new sounds) Like I said, all I need is to find the right sounds for the newer pessima 4 cylinder engines and the barstow engines. at this point, i'll be mixing intake and ambient motor sounds from different motor samples to see what works best. Also, I barely found out that FMOD allows for exhaust samples to be played with the motor too so i've done it for the pessima, T-series, and Civetta in the video. Makes a day and night difference. As for the estimates on a possible date on the mod getting updated, It's better for me not to say one since i'm bad at estimations for things like that. So the answer is very soon, because I'm working to complete the soundpack with exhaust sounds and all for everyone to enjoy once it's finalized. It's only a few vanilla vehicles left. (Barstow, all motors) (Gavril V8's for the GM, Pickup, Van) (New Pessima 4 cylinder motors)
have you considered a special engine offered in the Old Pessima and Covet that sounds like this: this is the best sound vid for a 4a i could find
