Update Speculation thread

Same american trash cars, that we already have in game, I'm not excited by those new vehicles at all. Picollina was a great addition, something different. I want more variety, more modern euro cars, hatchbacks and so on.

 

I know it might be a stereotype but we actually hate working and have quite alot of free days here

 

totally agree, and in France we all love work and we have almost no any holidays and free days

 

They are activities for a release in the background, as over the last week they tested several update builds of the game.
Even on yesterdays 'Good Friday', which is a holiday in Germany, they uploaded an 'qa test version' into steam.

The Bluebuck would actually be 2 "generations" after the burnside, since the Burnside predates the vast upsizing of 57-58 (see 57 plymouths and 58 GM models) The Bluebuck was supposedly 61-64.

 

the qa branch is automatically updated but if it happens multiple times in one hour it sometimes hints to a incomming update but thats rare

They use to, there are a couple of dev comments in the thread. Doubt they have taken a serious look any time recently though, being that it's mostly a dump of random ramblings.

 

I think there was some kind of price mentioned at some point about making a car by devs, perhaps there is still such possibility, so if one really really wants a car into game, with few thousand euros I would guess it is possible within some time frame.

Very true. I still think it's time for that thread to be closed. What's the point in keeping it if the staff isn't going to use it?

It's a shame too, I've seen some really great suggestions in there.

 

So the Ideas and Suggestions section doesn't get clustered with multiple threads asking for vehicles they would want to see in the game.

 

Either way, it's pointless. I honestly think it's best that nobody suggests any new vehicles.

 

We should honestly have a developer poll where the community votes for the body styles, time periods, and nations of origin that new cars should be from. Each user should have 3 votes in each category or something similar. Would be very useful for the developers to see what the community wants.

 

That's a great idea.

 

In the future that could do well, but right now there are so many open niches and for gameplay reasons some of those need to be filled by dev choice vehicles.

 

I agree. I also think that we could use some more modern vehicles, like something along the lines of the new '19 Ram
