> Bolide has no traction Have you played BeamNG since they added pressureWheels? The Bolide has more traction than my dad's Subaru. > 120mph or lower The SBR4 was not intended as a supercar, it's a sporty compact with lots of performance options. Most of the time, you do not drive over 120 MPH, even in sports cars. If you are going to be driving at such speeds, might I suggest some racing tires?
It seems we've strayed off topic slightly, so here's the latest unofficial odds for the eagerly anticipated 0.16 version update... Tuesday 5-2 Wednesday 8-1 Thursday 14-1 Friday 5-2 Saturday 6-1 A later date 15-1 PS: As for the SBR4 I would say it's an "affordable" supercar in the Audi R8 mould (incidentally the Lamborghini Gallardo shares the same platform). I wasn't sure about it when it was first released, but it's grown on me over time partly thanks to the improved looks and engine sounds. Obviously we all have our own opinions, just as with real life cars.
Well hopefully after the Bluebuck(?) and the Soliad are officially in the game they'll look into these... ( You can find the original post on the very first page of this thread )
While the concept picture shouldn't be used as OFFICIAL confirmation I would love to see more ROR vehicle company's come to beam. While I never played ROR (or heard about it till after beam) I would love to see official transfer of vehicles (or company's) from ROR.
Really, though - can we PLEASE get the '69 Moonhawk? We do not have a true muscle car at the moment. I define a true muscle car as a family car from 1949 (the Oldsmobile Rocket 88 was the first) to 1971 that has been fitted with at least a 4-speed manual or 3-speed automatic and an unreasonably powerful engine. The Moonhawk we have now is from 1973 - too late - and the Barstow is a pony car, a purpose-built sports car, not a muscle car. (I suppose we do have the Burnside, which is sort of like the Rocket 88. If the 423 was a factory option for the Burnside at any point, or if the Bluebuck shows up any time soon, my point is moot.)
The needs of the game have changed a lot since that list was leaked, I'm not sure we will see any older American car from that list in a long time. The game could really use the Fulmine, and every time it comes up there's a lot of positive reception to the idea. We also need more non-German euro vehciles, so any of those Charmands/Jargls could be fair.
The devs have repeatedly stated that they do not want vehicles from RoR ported. They also usually get quite unhappy when "the list" is brought up, so I wouldn't expect anything from that list. The Bluebuck is coming soon, and I strongly suspect it will have a 423 making 250ish HP stock.
Then that is a true muscle car. Someone will most certainly make a high-quality 2-door variant as a mod, just like the Burnside - I don't require a "true muscle car" to be a 2-door, but most were. Forget I said anything
That would be great. I'd especially love to see the Charmand, Civetta Fulmine, and the two Jargls. I do think late 60's muscle cars, like the Dodge Charger, Chevrolet Chevelle, Camaro, and Pontiac GTO would all be a perfect basis for the 69 Moonhawk. Indeed. The idea behind the Fulmine is a phenomenal one. One that would really bum me out hard if it never got realized. And of course, the Charmand is French, and the Jargls were said to be Swedish.
The thing about the Fulmine is that it is a 1960's Italian 2 door car, which is very similar to a certain recent car.
So Swedish reliability!? We really do need more euro cars that don't have the ETK badge on them, it would be cool if a Official Communist built style car is brought into the game like a Yugo, Trabant, or a Lada
You didn't forget it's also a 2+2 Grand Tourer right? If you're referring to the Piccolina, which a city car, then the Fulmine would be nothing like it. I suppose so. While I have theorized that the DT825 would probably be like the Volvo PV444/PV544, others have thought otherwise. As for the Squit, I have no clue. I agree 100%. All three of those would be great.
Yeah, but a maserati-esque expensive GT car compared to a budget Fiat 500/Beetle-esque car doesn't have nearly enough overlap for the introduction of one to influence the possibility of the other Besides, bumping up the number of Italian cars from 2 to 3 still won't be much compared to the number of Japanese or American cars in game
I'd really love to have a Buick Gran Sport-like Moonhawk Special. Can we get a Stage 2? Though muscle cars were out there for far longer than to 1971 (the 1987 Buick GNX, for one), and the 88 was more of a fast car than an all-out muscle car. --- Post updated --- It's like saying that a chunk of garlic bread and a large pizza are the same, because they're both baked Italian food.
If we get a muscle car I want it to be Mopar styled. A Dart style car related to the Bluebuck would be great.
