Makes sense. I’d rather get a refined update than four hotfixes in two days after release kek. Lookin forward to it, I’m excited! Good luck!
Tanco seems to have meant physics features which work needs to be started on, which I can't think of anything. Electric cars, AI, and UI are all currently under development.
It seems that I'm a bit late to the future cars speculation train. Anyway, I've created a list of car types from ideas and some mad reserch over the past few months. The devs have stated in a blog quite a while ago that they wanted to cover all car 'personalities' so becoming interested I've listed some possible car types for post-Wendover updates: Korean modern car manufacturer - Hyundai, KIA Japanese modern luxury subsidiary - Acura, Lexus, Infiniti East European/Russian postwar car manufacturer - Lada, GAZ, KAMAZ, Skoda Russian truck manufacturer - GAZ, KAMAZ European truck/bus subsidiary - Renault Trucks, MAN, Volvo, Scania Japanese kei car/van/truck subsidiary - Daihatsu, Suzuki Hino, British luxury car manufacturer - Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin American luxury - Cadillac, Lincoln I've not included French/Swedish cars because they were mentioned in "The List" and even if it is discarded,I wouldn't be surprised to see a Jargl-like barque in the future I'm still brainstorming more types cars and the real life car industry is pretty complicated with foreign production copies and facelifts and other production fixes. And yeah this could've fit under the car suggestions tread.
Guys, for future reference, keep in mind that this is the Update Speculation Thread, not the Guess the next car with no actual evidence thread.
*laughs* Soliad is supposed to be a mid-low end car brand, similar to Pontiac. In no way is it a luxury brand, Bruckell is the American luxury brand, with the LeGran being based on a Oldsmobile or a Chrysler LeBaron/New Yorker.
Remember, the LeGran is supposed to represent the fake luxury cheapness of the 80s. It sells itself as a luxury car while actually being sub-par. The Wendover is supposed to be a worse version of the LeGran, so unless they change it up for the new coupe Wendover it should in theory be crappier than the LeGran.
You may have that a bit backwards - the Legran is the run-of-the-mill offering from the Bruckell/Soliad duo, with some luxury trappings glued on to a higher-trim model. The Wendover is supposed to come from a more premium brand, attempting to balance luxurious with sporty. Given that mid-level American nameplates tended not to excel at doing that during that era in particular, I wouldn't expect Soliad to have much success with this, except perhaps on the highest-trim versions of the Wendover. I have a feeling that the worst Wendover will be about even with a mid-range trim of the Legran like the SE as far as amenities go, with the weight holding it back in the performance department.

I think that it might be even softer floater than what GM is as 90's models I believe had generally bit stiffer suspension setups. With good amount of mass, super soft suspension is not making one so sea sick either as body is too slow to react to all imperfections of road, so some cars have used that to make super comfy ride, problem arises when body actually starts to roll/pitch, there is no end to it. So, maybe they go to this kind of boaty floaty, but FWD LeGran styled? Probably V6 only though, but I think bringing old V8 in smog strangled version to it would do much good in horror department.
I am getting hyped for the e-srb. Really wonder, what other cards could realistically converted to electric? ETK800 would work as the BMWx1 has an e version which seems to the same body abet some blue shiny trim and no exhaust
The aerodynamics are actually already better then most other games (the only game with better fluiddynamics i can think of is ksp with the far aerodynamics mod) so.... what improvements to tge aerodynamics would you recommend? I cant think of anything that wouldnt really hurt performance (correctly calculated shockwaves, csa, boundry layer, ground effect, and aoa-dynamics would be cool for planes.. but.... I dont think its feasable
>Wendover - 80s car >posts pic of 70s car Honestly, I expect a big, but not so boaty car designed to bridge the domestic-import gap, like the Bonneville in real life.
As far as I know, there is no slipstream or dirty air. IIRC there are no fluid dynamics in this game. A few years ago I've seen an developement image that showed the logic of windforces, which basically calculates air resistance based on angle of attack. I can't find an image, but an dev response from 2014 and one from 2016:
