I wouldnt trust google translator. And luojan hollanti does mean gods holland but we should get back on topic
Unless they're talking about the April Fool's joke, in which case: https://www.beamng.com/resources/1948-fintray-roadster-april-fools-mod.8087/ But other than that, no beta has been released, as @IAchievedBacon said.
So, an update: I have been busy with university last weeks and most of my spare time went to the scouts. The last quartile of the year has started and because of this, I have 1-2 weeks with slightly less work to do. That means that even more time has to go into the scouts. Not kidding. During Easter, various scout groups in NL organise so called HIT's, these are hikes or other camps. I took part in one with a group of leaders/friends which was a lot of fun and exhausting(25km of walking through the forest with a 23kg backpack each day) Next weeks we have a camp with the cub scouts, a mandatory training weekend for new leaders AND I will attend a first aid course since my certificate needs renewal. I think progress on any mod will be slow until the summer holidays and the week after it starts. But this doesn't mean there is no progress at all. As you know, I am a member of the MG TTO now. I decided to use their network of (old) members and asked the secretary whether he knows anyone who used to race with TD's. So after a few weeks and some mailing, I called with someone who used to race one AND still has all his papers and the car. He used to race on various tracks in Europe including Spa, Zandvoort et cetera. He raced in a certain class and had to follow certain rules. To make sure the car can race in that class, the car needs homologation papers. This is like a technical passport for racecars. This is of course very interesting since that would allow me to recreate his car, or at least the same spec. But it gets even better. He also has the prints of his timings, toe, tire pressure, oil pressure, the whole circus. His car is not the same as on the homologation papers right now, the engine had to run on a fuel type he could not find at regular fuel stations and decided to put an ford motor and gearbox in it He also likes to talk about it and invited me to come over. I accepted this invitation and will go there next week. This means that I will have to drive 200km one way to get there, then 250+ to go to the monthly member meeting and back home. That's just on one day for a virtual car. With the fuel economy of the MX-5, it will probably cost me more than 35 liter fuel. And dinner since I also have to eat. With the fuel prices in NL, this will be costly for a student like me. So if you like the mod and want to contribute, this is the moment! You can donate here: https://www.paypal.me/blijo I did do some work on the race version: Added some lower and stiffer springs and worked on the fenders a bit more. I will add period correct wheels and tires (steelies that are 1 inch wider than stock) and maybe start on new seats as well
Here you go https://www.beamng.com/resources/1948-fintray.8087/ On a more serious note, I politely suggest it'd be a good idea to stop begging for the mod and let Blijo do what he wishes to do with it.
So the first Square Front magazine (MGTTO club magazine) after the annual members meeting arrived. Guess what's on the front page? Bottom caption reads: Racing during the members meeting
Wonder what could it be... Is there any more stuff inside about the Fintray? If yes, could you show some more?
