The Storm has finally passed and wasn't that bad, back in 2011 we had a tornado but it barely did anything. My brother finally requested a discharge from the military and was let go, he moved into a mini town between Harrison and Rockwood, He needed some help with his old Caprice so I came over and got the alternator on it working again. Along with that I found my self a new higher paying job at the Rockwood Regional Airport. My job is to basically look after things, fix, clean, and refuel planes. But I now have a discount when I buy a hangar to store a plane! ( Which might be soon )
We made it. Roads are still flooded here, but the Coronet is just fine and the LeGran has fairly minor damage.
I would like to start so here goes: Location: WCUSA, by the church Car(s): covet zxi occupation: ambulance driver
Starting over: Name: James Car: D-Series w/ 7.3 Diesel swapped in Occupation: Mechanic (BTW I have the same house as before)
Apart from sentimental value, this Gavril Barstow is junk. The floor feels all mushy and has that horrible dingy smell of wet mold, along with that the suspension is all loose and the rubber bushings are better described as marshmallows. I really wanted to make this into a powerhouse but now I have to part out the good bits of it and hopefully the junkyard can give me a decent quote for the "Scrap Metal". But not everything is bad, I found a replacement car already! I found on BeamBook market place a 2.0L I4 5spd Auto 1989 Ibishu Covet for 3,400$ in Rockwood, I hooked up my trailer to my truck and I drove all the way out there. The car was pretty sketchy but had a lot of performance parts on it, the guy said it was pushing 25+ PSI with upgraded internals. I thought he was lying so I asked him if we could go for a spin in it and mad the gas pedal, there was a lot of rattling noise in the car and you could hear the motor as if it was on your lap. but when he floored it I thought I was inside of a spaceship. It just never stopped pulling and he got up to at least 90MPH+ on the main road, as soon we got back to his place I paid him in full and loaded up the car and received the paper work for it. when I was leaving I noticed his neighbor had a old 4 door Dodge Cornet that was obviously a project car, but it was still cool considering there seemed to be no rust on it.
*Restart* Name: Cory Location: ECA Job: At my uncle's (repaired) salvage car dealership in town Vehicles: 1995 Ibishu Hopper on 35s and well equipped for wheeling (with over 200K miles on the clock and a whopping 15 pounds of oil pressure), 1992 Ibishu Hopper on 31s and is a good daily driver (with 135K miles and plenty of oil pressure). I like my house because there are a lot of good places to illegally store junk, unregistered cars on the property.
My mission of obtaining a Coronet front bumper was a success. Now I can (legally) drive it to work, now that it has blinkers.
So I picked up a pretty beat up ETK 3000i missing most of its bodywork at an auction today for cheap. I don't know what exactly I'm gonna do with it, but it'll be fun.
Nastiest crash of the day: As you might know from a few posts back I am a ambulance driver. Cars involved: Roamer V8 4WD Pessima TurboBurger Speed difference: (added together) 50mph as I was a head on collision. Injuries: Pessima driver in hospital, condition not yet confirmed.
I moved to Italy. Sold my 800-Series to get plane tickets and a car, and now have a lot of money to spend.
So, I was getting a Pitbull. His name is Apollo and I did not think my van would fit him so I bought this lovely beast. It has the rear seat delete so he can have some space.
(Quick story here) Name's Mark, today I was street racing some guy in some old Ford. I forgot the name but that isn't important. Me and the guy drove up next to each other on the highway, him taking his lane and me taking mine. We talked a little and then we began arguing about who's car was faster.. which was stupid. We both warmed up our engines and moved side by side, revving our engines ready to go. We had my friend do the count down for us (Forgot to mention him) and once he got down to zero, I slammed on the gas getting ahead of him for a few seconds. He was catching up slowly but he then got up beside me and drifted in my lane, I turned to avoid him, lost control, almost hit a gas pump and nearly hit a sign. After regaining control, I saw car parts fly past me. I looked back and saw the guys car flipping multiple times before bursting into flames..

A few days ago I had just been running errands such as fixing a leaking faucet and doing a regular oil change when I heard the Loudest BOOM ever, I rolled down my window and looked up at the sky where a whole plane was on fire and aiming downwards. I immediately downshifted into 2nd gear and floored it down Main St. toward, following the plane as it collided into the ground and made the ground shook. I parked my truck a bit far from the site because I could smell Natural gas and I don't want my truck exploding too, I walked a bit closer already seeing the black billowing smoke. My best friends home was in the same neighborhood and it had a lot of debris on it and it was on fire, I saw no signs of life on that street except from other people who came in flocks to see the crash site, all were behind my truck. When the police, FBI, and NTSB finished up a " First responder " report they concluded that some of 24 people died including 5 people on board the plane. They said the planes crash was simply because of a over weight cargo shipment that strained the engines and caused them to explode when the oil temps rose up too high. United airlines is dealing with the feds and the whole town is trying to clean up the aftermath. So I haven't been that active because of this.
