**DEVELOPMENT RESUMED** After waiting over 3 months, the primitive glitch has finally been patched in Blender 2.8 so now I can keep working on this project! I told you guys it wouldn't die, and it hasn't. -ANYW Sup! I have made the decision to start developing a Dodge Challenger SRT mod for Beam. I honestly don't care for American cars, I'm more of a German and Japanese car guy, but since the shape is pretty boxy, I think it'll be a good car for my first real mod made from the ground up. I will post pictures of my progress on this Development Page and other notes and such everyday and make sure all of the people in this community are well informed on the mod. I can't wait to see what you guys think of it when its done. Today's poll: How is my topology so far? "In mathematics, topology is concerned with the properties of space that are preserved under continuous deformations, such as stretching, crumpling and bending, but not tearing or gluing. This can be studied by considering a collection of subsets, called open sets, that satisfy certain properties, turning the given set into what is known as a topological space. Important topological properties include connectedness and compactness." Good Ok Absolute crap. *if it's either ok or bad please tell me how to improve in the comments below* Development Pictures [April 24'th, 2019, 5:40 PM] Mod Started. Half of outer shell finished. [11:15 PM] Front and back fenders completed. This day's thoughts: I thought Blender would be pretty tricky, but after watching a few online courses and learning all the keyboard shortcuts and stuff, it's not too tricky for me to be honest. This day's poll: Thanks to everyone who took part in the poll! Looks like everyone likes the model so far! [April 25'th 2019, 12:40 AM] Hood, hood scoop, and hood vents completed. [5:40 PM] Low-poly outer shell finished! [8:30 PM] Juicy subdivisions added and front grilles started. Todays thoughts: It's absurd how many times I've clicked my number pad to switch through different car views to check everything, I think I'm making oil spots on it from this... *im taking a break from this for like a week to regroup on school and other things like that since I’m spending about 5 hours a day on this and it’s very stressful. I’m not giving up, just taking a break from for a week.* [November 30'th, 2019, 11:28 AM] Project officially resumed. 2019
lookin' damn awesome! hope this won't die (my challenger got copyright problems so I can't continue it)
Oh it won’t, I’m just taking a break to catch up on schoolwork Also my laptop overheated so it has to be fixed XD
My mom's 2011 MacBook can't be used for a long time because it gets really hot. OT: Hope you finish, this will be a blast to drive!
The window frames are a bit to pointy, and the grill just looks weird, but apart from that it looks good
Good news! My computer has been successfully fixed. I will resume this mod tomorrow! (May 3’rd, 2019) Thanks for your support!
