The developers will release the game whenever they wan't. If it's unstable, it's unstable. Me, personally, would not want an unstable game, even though it's in alpha-state. The more time they have, the more they can polish the game. It's annoying to have people rushing the devs.
People will probably reply to me: "Yah, but evry alfa state gaim hav bugz, y cant beamng hav any?"
I'm not saying the game can't have any bugs, but too much bugs would ruin BeamNG. By the way, if they release BeamNG with (too much) bugs, it would kind of ruin that surprise we would have when we first get the game and see it almost perfect. We would kind of get bored having to re-open the game every time it crashes. I hope I'm not being a dick, but what I'm saying is reality.

Gabester, could you please post a screenshot of the Hirochi Sunburst? :) I really like it. And could you say which cars are already in-game and which are not? :) It would be a big favor if you did. :)

Alright here's a rundown of the vehicles:

    Gavril D-Series - in-game, textured, interior complete
Gavril Grand Marshal - in-game, textured, interior complete
Ibishu Covet - in-game, textured, interior complete
Gavril H-Series - in-game, textured, interior almost done, delivery truck variant almost done
Civetta Bolide - in-game, textured, no interior
Bruckell Moonhawk - in-game, partially textured, no interior
Ibishu Pigeon - in-game, not textured, no interior

The Sunburst is not in-game yet. Some features need to be coded to make the MacPherson strut suspension type possible, which the Sunburst and many other cars will use. However I have modeled all of the running gear and suspension for the Sunburst (except the engine).

Thank you VERY much for the update. I am sure that everyone in the forums appreciate it.;)

On another note, perhaps a tech demo could be released to to a select few on these forums? (just to be clear, I am in no way asking for this to be done, it is just a suggestion) The point of this would be to stop 12 year olds from whining about all of the bugs and glitches... I am not implying that I should be one of those chosen for the tech demo (should you decide to do it this way).

Also, we've made some big strides in improving the tire model and improving both handling and top speed. We're not all the way there yet, but we've eliminated a lot of the rolling resistance and improved top speeds by as much as 25%. The Bolide is stable and I've taken it up to 184 mph :D

In addition, exhausts may now dangle and detach :)

Yup, mines from around that era. Model 5187-1767. I love it though. Shipped with a Pavilion a520n, which died in 2007...

Can I make the assumption that the car will progressively get louder as exhaust pieces fall off?

Wow, that would be epic. That's one thing that is missing from every game. Would love to see that in BeamNG.

They eliminated the rolling resistance of the tires, making it faster and more realistic.
