Note: For other people the pickup does not spawn in the correct location. I will try to fix it, but for now the project is on hold because of this.

The menu screen of BeamNG is a playable map! I have made it so you can drive in the menu sceen. It is only beta released because it fails to load the credits and some thing else. You can drive around and explore the menu. When you spawn, the board that says BeamNG drive is right behind you.

    Known Bugs:
Failing to create credits sign, working on it
Spawning in the wrong spot, project on hold

Cool mod, but you can already drive around the main menu map. Just press F11 when you are in the main menu and spawn a car.

It doesn't matter. It is still a good map so people who can't do that can get at the map with ease, I respect what are your doing, trying to make the game more accessible and better by creating a cool import type thing :)

Yeah, I used that F11 trick and modded my menu screen. There's a gas station and truck sitting there every time I start the game.

    Re: The Menu Screen!

I was trying to do this last week! Not much of a map though,
just the one road that leads nowhere but still. :D

The problem with spawning a vehicle at the actual menu is the
camera doesn't follow the car, and I can't figure how to change it.

    Trying this right now!

    **EDIT**
Here's what I get when I try the map:

That's what happened to me when I first started. I moved the spawn sphere but it seems that for you it didn't save. I don't think I can fix that.

A temp fix for users would be to just press Shift+C fly to the area they want the car, then press F7. :)

Ok...Shift+C unlocks the camera yes, but how do you "fly" to the area you want?

Move the free camera around using W A S D, then when you're at the place you want the car to be hit F7 and it will spawn the vehicle where you are looking. . :) It is not a permanent thing but is useful if you want to quickly explore a part of a map!

Gotcha, I was trying the arrow keys and the numpad...lol

    That works perfect, thanks!

Actually, once you arrive at your desired spawn point, pressing F7 spawns
the vehicle and locks the camera automatically.
