0.16 Discussion Thread

Before 0.16, you were able to pause the game, swap as many parts as you'd like, then unpause with no problem. Now whenever I do that the game seems to not respond. Not sure if this is a bug but it might be a UI glitch.

 

In the Dev Blog the picture relating to the new diesel engine shows the existing petrol engine, not the new diesel model. Not very important, but thought was worth mentioning.

 

wait what, damn. i used to do that all the time, thats gonna stink not being able to do that

 

Love new body shape tweaks. Old models were too boxy.

oh lol, im loading into game so imma have to see if it still works for me. cause it is such a life hack to do that rather than do one part at a time

 

So i saw mention of charging stations and fuel stations. Are they functional yet?

 

Before this last update I could play on the Italy map 50+ fps with multiple cars with no issues, now it takes ages to load, can't get past 30 fps and stutters like hell. Other maps work fine so far tho. (I already disabled all my mods + cleared the cache)

 

Update is awesome, but the rear side of the roof of the Miramar is pretty spiky

 

I don't think that this has been mentioned yet, but the Covet's rear view mirror is practically useless after the update.

 

I've tried everything, but I can't get rid of the black screen.
I've tried to clear cache, safe mode, driver update, cache delete, reinstalling of game. Nothing seems to fix it.

 

Hit with the black screen of death, when viewing the log ingame (` key), everything reads normal till the 3rd line, which says `"copyIniToDocuments| Failed to copy imgui.ini to documents folder" . Is it missing the GUI, and that's why it's not doing anything?

 

The initial loading is the game building the cache. Not sure about the rest

 

So the eSBR cant be turned off, I know its electric and there isnt really anything to be turned off but you guys put effort into the gauge cluster start up when you first load the vehicle and its awesome! So maybe we can have a way to turn the car on and off just to even see that, if its possible.

Other than that small thing i'm loving it, great work, muscle cars sound great with no exhaust

 

A scroll bar appears on the right side of the screen when certain menus are opened.

 

The game isn't running. All I get is a black screen, even with the game mode off.

 

I just noticed the devblog keeps listing the Piccolina as "Autobello". Even the Civetta Bolide gets the model name instead of the brand name.
I cannot unsee this.

 

Enjoying 0.16 a lot so far but can I please ask why you decided to make vehicle body changes? It’s not that I don’t like them, just curious
