I guess modders can make old pre-facelift versions available if they so wish? It just needs some renaming to work well, maybe importing new engines and sounds and you could have twice the cars in game with relatively small amount of work. Developers probably will not do pre-facelift models as that would increase work required to maintain all those, but for modders there is possibility.
No, says! Ha! That's just the first example of hundreds : And if you complain about the difference of years:
OUCH! I misunderstood you!, Sorry!, yeah!, you're right, just you can't buy them anymore, only on a used market! Sorry!
maybe some minor hotfixes that they found themselfes? but that wouldn´t add up to 1.7 gigs. edit: nvm, there is your answer
Probably gonna be a hot fix with maybe a config or two =P As for the next major update, a bit early to be talking about it, no?.. It hasn't even been 24 hours since 0.16 came out. To answer the question, I see two possibilities. The summer and winter update could be both medium size updates, or the summer update could be another small one like this and the December update will be another big one like 0.15. The holiday season is always important for developers, so the later is the most likely IMO. Without any more teasers there isn't much to go on, but being that the Bluebuck and Wendover are both simple vehicles, there is a chance we might get both in the winter update. I'm not saying I think that will be the case, just that it's possible and would be a good way to have a big holiday update. Which leaves the summer update a wild card.
For the next update i would really like to see something like brakes glowing or the exhaust itself, but i guess that is something that will come not that soon because it is more a detail thing instead of something new
Not much different from the Express, Econoline or Ram Van. That is the point. Beam is meant to be realistic. It's a midsizer, not a landbarge. It is meant to look like this. Well, if the I-Series isn't necessarily as big as the real German execs... --- Post updated --- Real-life facelifts don't change as much in the body shape.
One of my biggest gripes about Beam that will hopefully be fixed in the future is the lack of proper realistic body style configurations and variants for the official vehicles that seem to be really begging for some (especially the Moonhawk because a lot of cars from that time came in a range of body styles, e.g. station wagons, 4-door sedans, convertibles, etc).
