I hate that everything about the GTX 1650 except for the low wattage is dwarfed by the RX 580/570 yet because it's Nvidia people are gonna assume it will perform better. All you need is a 450 watt PSU. Like seriously, who even needs PCIe power anyway. My RX 570 outperforms the GTX1650 by 25% without overclocking.
And your 570 costs more. A power supply costs more. Its a bit of a silly argument really. And in most games the difference is a lot smaller than 25%.
Erm... I'd love to know where you're getting your pricing from. These are from Newegg TODAY. Do note how, while not a rule by any means, in general RX570's are cheaper than GTX 1650's. The money you save buys you a power supply (albeit a kinda crappy one), and then that gives you easier upgradablility in the future. At the worst the GTX 1650 performs the same as an RX 570, and at the best in Vulkan and OpenCL workloads (both of which Nvidia are notoriously weak in), the RX 570 pulls a considerable gap. So I ask you this, which is a question you have often asked me: Why would I pay more or the same for equal to or lesser performance? I get it, you're an Nvidia whore, and that's okay... But we all have to admit that this card is just overpriced for the performance it brings to the table whether we like it or not.
Again, I'd like to know where you're getting your prices from... From newegg.co.uk TODAY: Sure, the difference is a little less drastic, but come on.
Newegg.co.uk doesn't sell in UK, it's a front-end for the US storefront and will hit you with shipping and import duties making it more expensive than cards far more powerful at that point --- Post updated --- Similar pricing on overclockers and amazon, pretty much the main 3 places to get GPUs in UK
That means that the UK sucks, not AMD. Fact is, pretty much everywhere else except in your case the Radeon still is king, so I don't know how you intend to turn the argument around on a fringe case.
I have an old Super Socket 7 machine with a Cyrix II processor in it. Debating on what I should do with it. Super 7's don't seem to be very common these days lol.
Use it as a retro gaming machine? I mean, this is probably one of the only logical uses for such machines.
I have a Super7 with a K6 II in it. It sits around as a little piece of history for the company I work for. It's a PowerSpec. I work for Micro Center. It sat on our shelves at the very store I work at 25-ish years ago.
At last, my PC build is finished. (at least aesthetically, I still need dual-channel RAM) Basically spent today working on it, spray painting the front mesh and installing new fans. Looks absolutely stupendous now, even with the crappy Raidmax case.
RIP Intel https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/mds.html Intel is about to lose datacenter market share faster than James Charles is losing subs. Meanwhile, AMD has 7nm two years ahead of Intel, and is absolutely killing cost-to-performance with Zen 2. Can we get an F in the chat for the blue bois?
So tomorrow I should be basically getting a new computer. My cpu has been causing these freezing crash problems (hopefully but I finally got a error msg). Here is what I'm getting. Intel Core i7 6700K 4.00 GHz Unlocked Quad Core Skylake Desktop Processor, Socket LGA 1151 [BX80662I76700K], Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 2400 (PC4-19200) C16 for DDR4 Systems, EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 Black Gaming,8GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans Graphics Card 08G-P4-1071-KR, GIGABYTE B360M DS3H (LGA1151/Intel/Micro ATX/USB 3.1 Gen 1 (USB3.0) Type A/DDR4/Motherboard) and a EVGA 750 GQ, 80+ Gold 750W, Semi Modular, ECO Mode, 5 Year Warranty, Power Supply 210-GQ-0750-V1 Pray it goes well. Update: It did not go very well. The CPU, Motherboard or the ram sticks are lemons.
It's not really a loss. I've never found Huawei phones to be all that amazing. Though, I strongly feel that if it isn't a Google Pixel or an iPhone, it's not worth having. Stock experiences are much better than whatever Android skin other manufactures come up with (I'm looking at you, Samsung). Both Apple and Google have more affordable options in the form of the iPhone XR and the Pixel 3A/3A XL. In my mind, again, very little incentive for people to go with a custom skin with bloat.
