Hello. I am looking for a cool game about restoring cars. I played CMS 2018 and 2017, and they were quite boring, so I would like to play something cooler. Any propositions?
Street legal racing 212 mwm release you can find it on vstanced you can buy the car body do engine swaps, change car parts, build engine by yourself tune suspension and there are tons of mods the game is from 2004 so the driving physics are kinda dated and its kinda hard to drive because cars understeer here are some screenshots
My summer car has bit more complex car building, but there is quite a bit to be dealt with in addition to car building and game kinda trolls player.
Car Builder for Cmmodore 64 (and that glorified calculator that was the ZX spcturum Sinclair), it's strikly about some people that bring in old cars wit rusty wheel which you can get cleaned by hitting really fast F7 and the Commodore key (why does nobody speaks abuot it, it's a crucial part of most any keyboard) which is fun... (spoiler for who, reading the post, went "isn't commodore a plumber's convetion?": IT IS A RUSSIAN MOD ON TOP OF A FIAT RITMO, that bad). oh, just to clarify i'm not that old, i'm just a geek that loves old mazdas and old computers. Mabye you can consider jalpoy a restoring car game but, like MSC, after the first few hours it becomes a maintaining car simulator.
You know, I played MSC, it's cool and all, but that's not what I meant. In MSC you have only one car to restore, and I don't want to only restore one. I played Jalopy too, but that's not a car restoring game, more like a road trip simulator. Currently I am waiting for two new games, the Diesel Brothers: Truck Building Simulator, and Junkyard Simulator.
I hope those are bit better than Car Mechanic simulators, which are so lazy way to cash that just can be, all cars use same parts, there is only bit variation and most of that is from DLC. No stuck bolts, rust magically disappears without any real work steps etc. Sadly any game with Simulator in it's name seem to be someway really super simplified instead of actual complex simulation.
I know, they are too simple. If I would have money, I would just buy myself some cars and restore them, but I don't have money, so I have to do with a game instead.
I have always sold car for 50 euros, usually perfectly fine working order too, sadly buying has usually been more expensive, like 2000 euros or so I'm afraid that Diesel Brothers and Junkyard simulator are going to be too simple also, Playway S.A is publisher in both and it can be Publisher is much to blame for too simple games, but that is kinda hard to know. Then again this too is published by Playway S.A and at least destructive potential is there, however it might be there is not much more to it than is shown in Video like Car Mechanic simulators: https://store.steampowered.com/app/641320/Cooking_Simulator/ When searching mechanic simulator on Steam there is a lots and almost always Playway as publisher, also when looking games they have published pretty much all seem to feel like money grabs https://store.steampowered.com/search/?publisher=PlayWay S.A. It is odd how Car mechanic simulator has so good reviews considering how much of under the bar money grab it is, but people seem to like games that just waste one's time no matter how little game there is, so that publisher is probably rolling in cash.
