What tires / wheels you used? I did try such and could not get wheels to snap off on gridmap, but not sure if it happens with some grippy wheels?
Pigeon and some other cars has the same problem too. Since diesel vehicles are getting more common with the update, I think the Hopper could use a 2.2/2.4/2.8 4 cylinder diesel with period time engine power (around 90-140 HP, if not enough or too much)
Jeeps quite rarely have had Diesel engines, not sure if Hopper is planned to be like that or if it will have more Japan like engine options where diesel was more common. I have often thought about 3-4 liter 4 pot diesel for Hopper, naturally aspired 58hp of course.
Figured it out. My bad ... Am using ETK 19x10 wheels, which are fine - with stock low profile tires. However stupid me thought I was running with mods disabled. I was not! Some ancient mod adds thicker profile tires for these wheels (so the pick up looks sassy with them), but it snaps of front wheels at full lock. Solid beam axle solves this and/or swapping stock independent front suspension for "wide" one - which also an addon, so question remains how long will it be functional. I found that most mods/addons I use are quite old and never have been updated ...
Random thing: Is it possible for the radiator to stop emitting "smoke" (water vapor) for when the radiator fluid has completely leaked out? I am unsure if that would also be a thing on a real car, but logic tells me that, if there is no fluid left in the system, there can´t be any water vapor left to emitt a white cloud out of the rad.
I doubt, Piccolina is far better, that is tractor engine level or bit worse I think, tons of torque, hardly any rpm or hp, just perfect for rock crawling
For having experimented total coolant loss after the waterpump broke and then the fan broke the radiator on my previous car, i can confirm there is no more vapor "smoke" quite quickly when you drive at 80 MPH on highway Fortunatly i didn't broke the engine, not even the headgasket.
Enjoying the update so far! here is some issues iv'e had so far: The navigation app keeps randomly flickering, I have the app downsized to 380x228 though. The engine sounds feel like they aren't loud enough and often get drowned out by tire squeal (especially the new I6 for the roamer/ d series) The siren used on the border patrol D15 causes slight lag when I switch on the lights, other sirens don't do that The 6.0 diesel clips through the roamer's hood Check engine like stays on in sunburst after crash At higher speeds sounds like the horn and sirens begin to sort of vibrate? The natural lighting mod made the new chunks of italy not appear at all so I had to clean reinstall to fix that. (just some info for anyone having this issue) Just wondering now, has an animated streetcar ever been considered to be added to WCUSA? the rocking boats in italy were a great addition.
When I first drove on the update on low settings, everything went fine. I put it on high settings and it worked decently. My laptop is kinda bad so i thought i'd put it in normal and now i keep getting the error : Failed to write shader stream at cache.0.16.01/shaders/procedural/dc5855233a018041_V.hsl . Put the game on low settings and keeps giving the same error and crashing the game.
The Hopper could get a diesel like the Defender's. I also hope the '53 Special will someday get some weird engines inspired by how the Cubans put some weird engines in those old American cars due to their recource availability.
idk if this is the right place but any chance of getting a LHD miramar? i know the game is mostly based on united states model cars and having it as RHD only unmodded is annoying, especially since the miramar is around the time japan started to export more cars. the pigeon i can understand since it's a small kei truck and those go by different rules but i'd have thought the miramar would at least have LHD options even if it's one or two standard models that are unique for a US market
I love the update except the fact that when the Italy map originally released I edited it so I could have some cars load in with the map and now it's been updated the map is missing all of the new content yet it still has the areas where they would go, for example a building is missing but the stairs are still there and the fire station is missing but the layout on the ground is there, can someone help?
It's because it's loading the cache from your modification of the map instead of what it should be. To fix it, go to Documents/Beamng.drive/levels and delete the italy folder.

i dont know if this is just me but once i switch from the pigeon (which has a low camera) to something else the camera is stuck at a lower level than normal
