[Solved] Transmission whine not working

The 0.16 update has brought more than plenty of good things, but for whatever reason, there are no transmission whine sounds on my end. Clearing my cache, launching the game in safe mode, and verifying file integrity didn't seem to do anything. My audio quality is set to high, with FMOD as the engine.

I tested it on the ETK 856td (the car showcased in the audio update video) in forward and reverse, with both automatic and manual transmissions. Surely I must be missing something (a hidden settings file, console command, etc).

Any info and/or feedback is greatly appreciated.

 

try the sunburst hillclimb. at the moment it's only on sequential transmissions, and the reverse gear in manuals. however, the etk transmissions have it disabled all-together.
