I've looked up and down the internet, but the only gaming wheel with an H pattern shifter (like in most manual tranmission cars these days) was the Logitech G27. Everything else seemed to have a sequencial shifter, which to be honest is disappointing. If I'm just gonna do "next gear, next gear, previous gear" etc. it's the same as using the keyboard. So does anyone know a cheap (100€ - ish) gaming wheel with an H pattern shifter? Thanks in advance.

The cheapest is the G25 or the G27. They got a great quality and the prices are pretty much the lowest for such stuff. Fanatecs and similiar are freakin expensive.
I've been thinking of this too... I have an old drill I was gonna use for force-feedback, and we've got several auto junkyards nearby which I could probably get real wheels, pedals, and shifter grips from.
I can get the real wheel, pedals and so on. I don't have the tools to actually build the base though :/ Electronics for it, no real problem there
Ah, that's too bad. I know guys with 3d printers, lathes, laser cutters, etc. It should be fairly easy to get any parts that I need printed/machined.
Ah yeah that'd be cool to have real pedals for it. And a real wheel. I don't have the expertise to do anything like that though.
I bought a Used G27 on eBay for that price. Has a few scuffs here and there, but other than that its great. Honestly BeamNG is not really that great with a wheel YET since there is no force feedback. Once there is, its going to the best driving sim ever with a wheel, pedals and H shifter.
well, you also have to remember, that if you want to be able to drive some car's easily (because there are a few that are quite hard to drive with a keyboard because no race update yet) you need to be able to control throttle with precision, which you can't get with a keyboard, as it's only on/off, with a steering wheel and such, you can get precise control, so if you only want half throttle, you can get half throttle for example, the CENSORED is quite hard to drive with keyboard (until the race update anyway) because it spins out because it's on off, but with even a cheapo wheel like my genius twinwheel F1, i was still able to drive it quite easily, because it's still precision control (although, not as much as something like a g25/g27)
I agree with this. When using a wheel set to 900 degrees, the level of steering precision is amazing. The same goes for the gas and brake pedals. I do want force feedback badly, but in my opinion, that is far from all a wheel has to offer for this game.
I don't own a wheel as I've already mentioned but can't help but agree with the both of you. The xbox 360 thumbsticks are not accurate at all, sure they are better than a keyboard but the level of precision offered by them is abysmal still. I've used a wheel on someone elses PC for another game and it did just feel great.
Yeah the wheel is good. I have a logitech momo and it's pretty fun with it. I think my pedals are slightly worn or something because there is a tiny bit of throttle on when I'm not touching anything, and if I pull the gas pedal with my foot it goes off. I don't use it though because the brake acts like a reverse throttle and a brake. When I apply them the rpm goes to like 3. Doesn't affect anything just annoys me. Need clark's fanatec.
:O, that's the same problem i have with my brake pedal, i believe it has something to do with both the gas and brake pedals being on the same axis
