Hi everyone, This is a Golf Cart mod from 2013 So far I got it to work in BeamNG 0.16 and now I am fixing up some of the parts and maybe adding new stuff Any suggestions please comment New features: 2 Configs, one realistic (but horribly slow) and one fast Custom motor sounds Horn, I didn't know what a golf cart horn sounds like so I just guessed Improved rear leaf springs Changeable Body colors (a pain to make) WIP: Adding working lights and other parts? Known issues: Spawns sideways, I'm looking into that issue The engine completely dies if you turn it off Drives really weirdly in sand and mud Here's a jbeam pic Tip: for more stability and speed while driving remove the Steel Supports and Plastic Roof Keep in mind that this is still WIP so there may be future updates Feedback is appreciated have fun crashing!
They aren't that hard, just takes some practice. ot: Pretty excited for this mod, the old one lacked some features, but if this is updated to have the latest features in beam, it would be pretty interesting. Some ideas would be an electric golf cart, some different engines, some customizations?
an idea for the next update, since the gearbox is a 1 speed in the standard config, isnt it better to just use a CVT? and i would like louder engines. anyway, good mod and im glad something like this is being developed!
