I mean there is a lot of controversy about the world finals and who should have won. My opinion on it is Lindsey shouldn't have won, she had a cool save and a cool back flip that was about it. Leduc Got some insane air and so did Tom. I think Leduc should have won
I say only get rid of it for World Finals events. It's not entirely a bad idea, but it is only if you overuse it or use it the wrong way. It's basically turned Monster Jam into a "who do you like?" sport, where the winner is basically the fan favorite. People like Leduc and Meents got screwed over because of it. Linsey in no way deserved that title. "Woah a backflip and one save?! That's title worthy!" Yeah I don't think so.
Honestly, I'm surprised that all MaxDs and all Grave Diggers didnt even make the leaderboard. --- Post updated --- I started going to these shows ever since I was 2 and loved it ever since. This has been the first time in 5 years I have went. And this is the biggest I scored at any Monster Jam I have ever been to. I have 2 hats, a long sleeve(in the laundry), a hoodie(my gf has it), 2 coozies(one for my dad), 4 signed WFXX trucks, and a signed Grave Digger part(drivers side front clip).
I go every year, but that's only because I work for them. Haha. Glad everyone enjoyed the show. It was a lot of work this year.
can i just point out the fact that you said that she shouldn't have won because she had a save and a backflip but then said todd and tom had big air. that math aint adding up. 2 good things or just 1 big thing. the backflip gave variety while the save gave her a wow factor. just one big move is not gonna get a win. sorry but lindsey had a really nice wow factor while those 2 only had the air
I think Camden or Brianna should've won personally. Camden had the big air, backflip to moonwalk as a wow factor, and destroyed the truck. Brianna has two HUGE saves, some big air, and also destroyed the truck (but filled time). I think Brianna would've won or come close to winning if she had backfliped.
Todd hit a backflip too FYI, clean. Linsey's looked like she had no clue what was happening and hoped for the best. Surprised the rear end didn't give out.
Also you could tell in linsey’s run she just looked lost she went around the the stadium then hit a big jump I think either brodozer, Mohawk warrior or Todd should’ve won, their freestyle had momentum, incredible wow moments and a bit of everything else also another rig was the high jump competition the only reason Cynthia won was because of her save which isn’t the competition I hate that so much when drivers win the competition because of something that doesn’t have to do with the competition like a save in the 2 wheel I think Tom Meents or Todd Leducc should’ve won.
Brodozer was too short, 30 second run. High Jump wasn't scored, but actually measured. I didn't think she got it at first because of how far she tipped but she still got it.
I gotta say the air that Todd got was insane. A lot of trucks broke/rolled early hence Linsey winning. But overall never being able to make it to vegas and this year having it practically in my backyard made it the best show I've been to. Thank god the rain didn't swamp us for freestyle. I gotta say though the high jump comp was a really cool addition this year. I wish I would've known you guys were there, It would be cool as hell to have met you guys. Definitely gonna go to both days next year or I may skip going as a fan and do track crew that's always a blast. I've done multiple arena shows but yet to do a stadium show. Also I have a fuel cell from Kayla Blood's el toro (last year? the arena skid operator punctured it) anyways I was gonna go get it signed but forgot it but I was thinking about making it into my new pc build case, making the top hinge and throwing a cooling fan in the hole on top maybe toss some nice orange led strips to make it glow from the inside. Should I?
I dont think Lindsey should've won but in her defense, that was her first back flip. quote me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure that was her first back flip sense she is a arena driver Second of all I think what they should do is for the world finals have offical judges, that actually arnt bias/ know whats good or know whats not good, not some fan judges. I feel like this would fix alot of things about the world finals.
