Hello, guys. For months, I want to create my own maps. So, I create my new map by following the instructions on this page : https://wiki.beamng.com/Starting_a_new_map_project
Then, I want to spawn buildings. But I have no skill. So, I want to import from west_coast_usa. But it has No Materials. I tried to tweak it on map editor, but came empty handed. Can you help me how to add the "material"?
This is the image. Other buildings that have textures is from east coast. Sorry for my bad english. I'm indonesian.

You need to place materials.cs, that has definition of materials and textures, to folder where your .dae file of model is. It is recommended to have own folder for your own models so you don't overwrite wrong materials etc.

Materials.cs content you can get from west coast usa, in folder where you found buildings there is always corresponding materials.cs file, you need to have that file copied or part of it's contents copied to place where your map buildings are to fix that issue.

So if you have .dae files in \levels\yourmap\art\shapes\buildings_wcusa\ that is folder you need to place materials.cs from wcusa or alternatively copy contents of materials.cs if you have other .dae files in folder too, but much easier if you have own folder for buildings you imported from wcusa.

So, I must make new "buildings folder" on my map and then place material.cs and only needed .dae and .cdae files from wca?

Edit : Nvm your advice worked for me. Took 1 year to find out tho :)
