This problem started around 3 weeks ago... I have the 6-speed manual GLS with the 2.0L 173hp GDI N/A engine.

Its gradually started to get worse and worse over the past 3 weeks, to the point where I would have to put force into the gear shifter in order for it to go into gear. It happens to all 6 gears, and I'm either thinking the clutch is shot or there's a internal issue with the transmission.

Here's a little video of the noise when I put it into first gear, anyone have any ideas of what it is?

    That's no clutch, that's a fucked transmission

Only car I heard noise like that on was one with busted synchronization rings in the gearbox, which would also match with you needing a lot of force to shift. Normally they only break behind the hands of someone not rev matching shifts properly though, and all 6 wouldn't go at once. So likely not that. Really sounds bad. Doesn't help when we're listening from not by the gearbox though. That needs to go to a mechanic, via trailer

Yeah, it only happens when passing someone, stepping on the gas bringing it to redline and then when I would go to shift it would 'lock' me out, or I would have to force it into gear. It isn't noticeable when shifting slowly, while not racing the engine.

I would have thought it to be the clutch as there was next to no feel to it and even with the pedal all the way to the floor, it'll still have the problem.

In the video was when I would put it into first gear. The noise is not noticeable in the car while driving. And even sitting as a passenger when shifting, you can still feel how harsh the shift was rather than it being smooth 3 weeks ago. It's probably not the cars fault, as when I got the car 2 years ago, I grinded third gear a bunch before I got used to it again. Haven't driven a manual for years as I had a 2005 Hyundai Tucson with the v6 before this car for 12 years. Back then I thought of getting the transmission flushed to get rid of the metal shavings possibly being in the oil, maybe I should've got it done back then lol.

Was this the problem? Clutches can cause more problems than you think...

Yep, the clutch grenaded. In the photo its supposed to be all in one piece, not separated like it is. The rivets were pulled out clutch itself, it was literally falling apart in my hands.. Those springs too, were popping out aswell. Costed me $1100 to get it done at a local shop, Hyundai was charging me $1500+++....

The clutch was also stuck on when I was driving too not fully on, but stuck just on just a little bit. That must've lead to this issue too.

I have a aftermarket clutch kit installed right now, I ain't going OEM after this problem LMAO!
The aftermarket clutch kit I got, is much, much better than what came with the car from the beginning.
