WIP Beta released Projekt's Parts [Update: 7/15/2019] 0.1.2

I haven't seen a lot of parts for the ETK K-series, so I learned how to use blender and made some! This is my first set, but I have more in progress for the ETK K and I series. I plan to release this pack once I feel there's enough content. Though if there's enough interest I could release what I have as I go.

I currently have 2 more rear diffusers, 2 more exhausts, and sideskirts planned for the ETK K
and Retro Fender Splitters, 3-Piece Trunk Spoiler, and Sport Front Bumper w/Splitter for the ETK I that are currently in the works.

These parts do currently use the stock jbeams, but as I learn more I plan to make new ones from scratch for the custom parts and also make them removable, i.e using the sport front bumper without the splitter or being able to swap different diffusers into the sport rear bumper.

I'm also open to suggestions and ideas, so feel free to post some in here. Preferably with pictures for reference!

UPDATE 05/01/2019:


Some more progress on the ETK I parts. Retro fender splitters, 3 piece rear wing (based off Kamei 3-Piece I own, though this is not my pic ) and a very subtle "sport" front lip with splitter. This design is very likely to change or at least be made into the "mild" version with a more aggressive lip and splitter as an option.

UPDATE 5/12/2019
Added a list of parts and their progress. I will be uploading more pics tonight as well.

I also want to mention I worked out a new "Material selection" system so that when you select your parts, there will be another drop down underneath for "Material," which will allow you to change things such as the rear trunk lip, or the fender splitters and choose things such as Painted, Carbon Fiber, or Rubber depending on the part. The Vented Hoods will have the vents separate, so you can choose combos such as Painted Hood and Carbon Vents, Carbon Hood and Vents, or even Carbon Hood and Painted Vents.

In a similar vein, instead of having the Fender splitters as individual fenders like I originally had, you can now choose the "Customizable Fenders" and the select which style of fender splitter you want and then materials from there.

I feel this is a good way to clean up the parts selection menus, so you have one "style" of hood with different patterns and textures, so you don't have 3 of the "same" part listed in the hood dropdown.

This update is mostly showing off the material selection for the hood and fender splitters, included pics of the sideskirt diffusers for the ETK I Brigsby sideksirts.

First up for the ETK I, I have some carbon fiber sideskirt diffusers for the Brigsby sideskirts. I will be retouching the Carbon texture.






Here is the first style of fender splitter showing off the material selection as well. One painted, one rubber.





I know this is a small detail, but I wanted to be accurate lol. I reworked some textures from Poliigon and made it look more like my own fender splitters which are a sorta rough, textured rubber.

First up is the finished E9x Front bumper, shown with splitter 2 and the new canards installed. Canards were unplanned but I wanted some so here they are.


I also created a rear window spoiler on a whim after seeing a really nice E34 with one recently. I had to make it. I will likely make one for the ETK I in the future as well.



Working on some sideskirts as well. First up is this "twist" skirt. Still a rough WIP, but it's getting close.


And just some side-by-side shots of the ETK with the E9x bumper, splitter, trunk spoiler, rear diffuser and exhaust.

Awesome! Getting parts for the Beam vehicles is always great!
If you're open to suggestions, maybe you could attempt a Spirit Rei kit for the 200BX?

The fender splitters are nice, and the front splitter is especially nice.

 

I like how this is progressing, especially since it started with only the lip spoilers!

Thanks! I would love to include that eventually, but I have exactly zero experience with skins, so I'd have to figure out how it all works first.

It has crossed my mind, but I would need to experiment with glow maps and such as that would be new territory for me. I'd be willing to try! Did you have something in mind? Reference pics would be a huge help too.

Still haven't learned how to work with skins and it's not a priority for me personally, if enough people want it I can work on it, but I want to get all the parts done before I do that.
