Please fill out the following information in a post.
    1) Name of your team
    2) When your team will be ready to compete
    3) What class will your team be competing in (can not have more than 200 people)
    4) How many people are on your team
    5) What vehicles will your team be using
    6) Homologate your car if you are creating it yourself

If you are creating your own vehicle for your team pleas click the following spoiler
Please fill out the following information in a post.
    1) Choose the vehicle your team would like to use
    2) Make sure that vehicle is up to date with safety features
    3) Make sure that the vehicle your team chose is in the proper class you want to be in
    4) Know your class rules, different classes have certain restrictions

If you are creating your own vehicle in blender, or using an existing one, please make sure it abides by the rules and restrictions of its class. All vehicles MUST stay with in their appropriate class. The following classes are stated below

Class A: This is the highest class available, there are little if any restrictions on what you can do with your car. Just make sure that the vehicle is based off either an existing one, or if its something that you created, is homologated for road use. At least 5 different variants of your car must be made for it to be homologated if you created that vehicle yourself.

    [CLASS A REQUIREMENTS]

    1) It MUST meet the basic safety requirements. That includes (but not limited to), the use of a 5 point racing harness seat, full racing roll cage, fire extinguisher, etc.
    2) It has to weigh at least 1900lbs (861.8kg). This is to make it easier on others who may not be able to match the weight of some team's vehicles who are better at designing their cars. It also prevents cars from being too light and potentially causing a safety hazard.
    3) Although the amount of power/torque is strictly up to your team, it is advised that you DO NOT exceed 2000hp or 2500ft-lb (its possible) as it poses a safety risk for drivers who are unable to control the car and maybe an unfair advantage to some teams, (but its still at your own risk).
    4) Tire width can not exceed the 355mm for all wheels
    5) Vehicles that are created using blender (or some other program) must meet the quality of basic beamng vehicles. This is to make sure that all cars look like they belong and not something from a 1985 game.

Class B: This is the next step up from the previous class. You have more freedom to make your car (either from scratch or using an existing vehicle from the game) so as long as it meets basic safety requirements and is homologated. vehicle that are created from blender (or another program) needs to have at least 7 different variants for it to be homologated, and looks similar to vehicles already in the game.

    [CLASS B REQUIREMENTS]

    1) It MUST meet basic safety requirements. That includes (but not limited to) the use of a 5 point racing harness seat, full racing roll cage, fire extinguisher, etc.
    2) it has to weigh at least 2400lbs (1088.6kg)
    3) Power/torque can not exceed 750hp or 1000ft-lb
    4) Tire width can not exceed 305mm for all wheels

Class C: This Class is for those who are getting used to racing. This class is also heavily restricted so you do not have a lot of room when it comes to what your team can do with their car. Basic safety requirements are needed and as always all cars need to be homologated. At least 10 different variants of your car (if building from scratch) is required in order for it to be homologated.

    [CLASS C REQUIREMENTS]

    1) It has to meet basic safety requirements, including (but not limited to) the use of a 5 point racing harness seat, full roll cage, fire extinguisher, etc.
    2) It has to weigh at least 2800lbs (1270.059kg)
    3) Power/torque can not exceed 500hp or 900ft-lb
    4) Tire width can not exceed 275mm for all wheels

Class D: This is the entry level class for beginners who are new to racing. it is the most restricted class here due to the newcomers who are not yet use to controlling high powered cars. Basic safety requirements are mandatory, and at least 12 different variants of your car are needed to be homologated (if you are creating it from scratch).

    [CLASS D REQUIREMENTS]

    1) It has to meet basic safety requirements, including (but not limited to) the use of a 5 point racing harness seat, full roll cage, fire extinguisher, etc.
    2) It has to weigh at least 3000lbs (1360.7kg)
    3) Power/torque can not exceed 300hp or 550ft-lb
    4) Tire width can not exceed 255mm for all wheels

For realism purposes, there will be certain rules/things that you can and can not do. Click the spoiler to find out what

    1) Time is a factor in this thread, what you do time on your team takes time. (for example) When designing a car(s) for your team, it will at least take a week or more (depending on how big your team is) before your car(s) is "ready". The more people on your team, the shorter it will take before your vehicle(s) is "ready".

    2) Teams must consist of a staff, please state the following in a post.
    a: Driver
b: Co pilot (if competing in rallies)
    c: Spotter
    d: designer/engineer (more engineers/designers = faster/better cars built)
    e: CEO
    f: Owner/boss
g: Manager (probably does the same that a CEO does but idk)

To answer a few questions to the best of my knowledge:

There could be some limitations on parts/cars, however, we will have different classes to give you some freedom and creativity.

The whole crew thing is pretty undeveloped at the moment, we’re working on it. We’ll figure out any restrictions that need to be in place. Sorry if that’s a bit of a non-answer, but this concept is very WIP. Us mods are still works no on developing it. :)

I meant on any restrictions on things like team size, age ect and if there are any rules on the condition of the vehicle eg: how much rust it has

your team size can't exceed 200 people as described above, the condition of the vehicle needs to be top notch, as for age just be at least 18 or older

Little bit of a bump here-

What should we do with this? With Raceboy77 gone (thank goodness), there’s not really a leader for this thread. I think this would be a cool concept, but on the other hand, I think it could be tough to implement. Thoughts?
