As far as D-series's frames go... You could use for example an ext frame with wingle cab and a bed longer by the difference between the ext and single cab. But then for the crew cab frame you'd have to make a different bed since difference between single and ext cab isn't the same as difference between crew and ext cab if I remember correctly from when I was playing around with making a longbed D-series.
I know of only one truck that shared a frame between RC/LB and EC/SB variants, and that was the 1997-2003 Ford F150; having been in the back "seat" of one once as a child, I fully understand why no other truck ever did this. Also, I think someone may have tried to make a mod of that once and it ended up looking really goofy due to the position of the rear wheels, which may have also been a function of having a non-standard (i.e. not 8ft) bed length.
Yes, I remember somewhere one of the devs said that they tried putting a 600cc engine in it but it didn't feel good to drive and was boring. I personally like underpowered engines however I do understand the devs concerns.
I put flat 2 cylinder 1.5 liter engine to SBR, it was really nice old motorbike sound, but to get it to 100kph took bit long and hilly roads of this game were literally a murder for such engine, but at city speeds it was fine. If you drive sensible way such low powered engine would be okay, but I don't think I have seen video where someone has driven actually sensible way in this game
I did make a proper 8ft bed for the D-series, but it did require I think 4 more frames to get it to work properly (standard and heavy duty frames)
Most recent Microblog post about ScriptAI Finally, there will be culling for the pathing, wonderful. I am also glad that the path looks like it's tilted, and how there is RGB colors for each path aswell.
Well, you're going to have to wait for that. The devs might be working on it in the background, but there's no way to be sure as of now.
Okay, if you know that, what was exactly the point of the post? Was it meant to speak everyone's mind?
Well, we know they were working on it a couple of months ago, so it would be weird if they stopped work on it...
As for the wheels for the Wendover, i have some wishes: I love old 90s Pontiac designs and the machined finish! I should have posted that in suggestions
