Mod now uses the default logic (and keybind) as all other vehicles.

You can globally remap the input for transbrake (so, also for all stock vehicles that come equipped with a transbrake) from the Options -> Controls menu.

Hey, so I uploaded a freestyle run featuring the new sounds. Should I post this in the Beam-Monsters group? Or should I leave it out to prevent spoilers for the new update?

Okay, so far I am really loving the fmod sounds they've really helped out with immersion (I know I keep saying that but man they are really growing on me). I can actually tell my throttle rhythm better. I noticed right off the bat it was easier to snap the wheel hubs and I feel like that is an improvement. I feel like just a smidge weaker would allow it to break more fitting but I mean just an itty bitty smidge weaker. I throw the rear end of the truck around off jumps by bumping the rear steer to get it to land sloppy to break/try to break the hubs. Out of the runs that I did I had a wheel break off probably 2 out of 5 runs. Those breaks were expected from the angle of the landing. But there were times were I expected it to break but it didn't the tire went flat. Which brings me to the video I found below of dragon landing the exact same way I did/do. Notice how just the tire takes the landing and blows instead of just the hub sheering off. So, like I said maybe just a very small amount weaker but right now id say its pretty realistic.

Video Example of tire pop at 14:25:

    Pros:

Weaker hubs- Personally I feel like they should be a very small amount weaker. But the change is a welcome one.

Swaybar tab- Didn't experience too many more breaks than usual. Feels normal which is good.

As for my mom on a bike - Idk lol

    Cons:

On the SUV body I had an issue twice with the side panel actually phasing through the chassis and it just looks a bit off.

    chassisbounds.png

Opinionated suggestions (these do not have to be addressed/are not issues):

    - I feel like the 4-link ends need to be weakened some, to make up for the fact that they can't bend. This lets the truck break when putting tons of pressure onto a tire. (for example: nose diving into the dirt.) Instead of just jiggling and taking the hit when irl the 4-link would have bent/broke anyways.

    - Would it ever be possible to have tires lock up/spindles break? I had the hood of digger get pinned between the shock tower and tire and it actually stopped the tire from rotating.

That's all I've got atm, thanks for more hard work guys! Loving it as always

As you wish. New sounds are no secret and launch is imminent, so you can post your video wherever you see fit... :)

    Ok!

    :)
This is pretty much unavoidable. It's due to the less than perfect collision mechanics currently in game.
    Noted. Can do.

    :)
    Spindles can break... ;)

I think what he means is would it be possible to make it where the planetary can shatter thus locking one of the wheels up like Tom did in Arlington back in 2011

I love the new beta files, I can really throw this truck around with the extra power and the grip is amazing, the sounds could use a little work it seems a little high pitched but other than that this update is amazing

Nope, planetaries can't break at the moment. Powertrain system doesn't support "physical" planetaries, just logical reductions.

Now that I think about it, I have been able to replicate what @supercharge71 has done. Even though it’s a pain in the rear to repeat time and time again, I like the ability of being able to do that.

The best thing to do is just reassign the transbrake to another command. For me personally, I just a xbox one controller and assigned transbrake to right analog click.

So... Well... I thought of a solution while working out this morning... :)

One of the worst "offenders" - together with the side panels - was the Trophy Truck roof, clipping very easily through the chassis. Well... No more, anti-clipping measures coming for all bodies...

So after a bit of hesitation I decided to continue my duties of being in this group, and update to the newest beta... all i can say is that its absolutely amazing! Since the last beta I had have come many good improvements! Keep up the amazing work everybody! The only thing is the new sounds are kinda weird, but really good!

Also side not but un-important im in beam-monsters and have been for a while... I don't have perms to do anything, ive tried messaging people in that group no one would respond. I know that doesn't belong in this group but I seriously need help so I can text in that group!
