I did notice that I get wheelspin up to 80kph (two black stripes are drawn, not one, two), that is what might happen with +300hp IRL, so there is something that needs examining further. Another bit that I noticed with very short test of 0.3 was that FFB is quite strongly pulling kind of wrong direction, so where normally steering wheels attempts to straighten up when flooring throttle at corner, here I noticed wheel wants to turn more towards inside of the turn. Need to try ride height patch, but there might be some bug still around with front suspension, those are quite tricky and difficult to get behaving so it is natural that it takes time to perfect! Really enjoying from your hard work on this, I just love it when tail gate flings open etc.
Many fwd cars have that it's called torque steer but I agree it's a bit to strong. Here is a vid of the Mazda 3:
If I don't hold wheel, it will turn very fast to maximum lock, can't say I would had experienced anything like that with a Covet. This is with 0.3 version.
What does the suspension look like when you set mesh visibility to 0% and display beam stresses, is there any obvious stress arising when you hammer it with your hands off the wheel?
The mod has been updated to 0.4. As always, download is in the OP! The major parts of this update improve the front suspension and add universal wheels. The stock tyres are also slightly grippier. The car is far less understeery with the original setup. Changes in 0.4: Universal Wheel support! Front suspension geometry adjusted further. Acceleration and braking has less effect on toe angles Increased tyre grip and added sport tyre option (compatible with universal wheels) Rear suspension flexbody fixed Tow hitch fixed Some other improvements I've probably forgotten about
Hello, i have a idea for a new model of the 205, do a version with the steering wheel on left Thanks for your reponse !
couple little things mate , the car only has 1 rear for (right hand side) and 1 reverse light on the left of the rear valance , not 2 , also the top part of the tail lights is for the normal lights and the small squares are the brake lights, not the other way around , and there are no reverse lights on the tail light clusters the indicators do the whole bit , few other bits , there are tinted , slightly tinted and clear variations of the indicators on the rear phase 1 ( the version you have done is phase 1.5-2) rear lights are different you also have the phase 1 interior , but u have the wrong seats , you've got XS/GT seats not the half leathers a gti came with , also the gti had colored carpets. look at pics for how rear lights should be, also front fogs came on with headlights as they did not have a separate button I have many more images I can send too , of a GTX and a XR also the STOP only comes on with high coolent temp , low oil pressure or low battery voltage.
Err, what? The Peugeot 205 and the Ibishu Covet are two very different cars. Sure, they may be 80s hatchbacks, but they have many significant differences.
Thanks, my google skills are terrible so I had to resort to a lot of guesswork when adding these details. I'll make sure they're correct! I'll keep the phase 1 interior for the moment, and I can add the phase 1 lights while keeping the phase 2 lights as optional. Do you have a picture of the correct seats? There seem to be a couple variations but I'm not sure which is the original. EDIT: also are you sure about foglights coming on with headlights? From this pic of the phase 1 interior there's a foglight switch at the top
