    Hi all,

As promised in one of the "How do I play BeamNG on Mac" threads, I'm writing a brief guide on how to play BeamNG.drive.
    Quick side note
I am not responsible if anything goes wrong in the process.
When executing the steps, please first read the entire thing. Some important information is listed.
The process could take anywhere from an hour to longer, depending on your internet's speed. I was able to do it in 1 hour and 20 minutes.

    Step One
Install Windows on your Mac device through Bootcamp.

If you've already done this, skip ahead to step two
By using a function called "Bootcamp" that is native utility in your Mac's Operating System, you can use Windows on your Mac as a secondary OS, meaning that it does not overwrite MacOS. More on that later.
Here's a video tutorial on how to do it:

You will need a legitimate copy of Windows, preferably Windows 10. You can also pirate the software, but I do not recommend that, as you can get a legitimate software key for about twelve euros.
If or when you've purchased a key for Windows 10, go to this link to download the required .ISO file for your OS. The ISO file you download must be the same as the software key you've bought, meaning either for Windows 10 Home of Windows 10 Pro. You can get the file from this page of Microsoft's official website:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

As for the size of the partition you can choose, I'd recommend you choose for 120GB or more for Windows if possible. You cannot edit this after you install Windows, so please think about this briefly. Will you be playing any other games than BeamNG.drive on Windows? If yes, leave more space. It's that easy.

I personally bought Windows 10 Pro because of the extra functionality I got for the small price difference.
It's very easy. Just follow the steps and you'll be fine. This tutorial works on both iMacs and MacBook Pros.

    Step Two
    Install Steam on Windows.

In order to (buy,) install and play BeamNG, you must download Steam in order to do so from this website.
When done so, just open the installer and go through the installation process. It's pretty self-explanatory.
If you don't understand it, follow this tutorial.

From here, you can go to the store to buy BeamNG, or go to your library to install it if you've already bought the game.
When pressing the game, you can see a big "Install" button come up along with some achievements and some news. Just press the install button, go through the installation process and the game will download to your computer.

    Step Three
First time setup and playing for the first time.

When launching BeamNG for the first time, you'll be prompted by Steam to install some drivers. Please do so, as these drivers make sure the game works as it is supposed to. This only happens when you launch BeamNG after (re-)installing, so you don't have to do that again.
After that, you'll be greeted by the BeamNG Launcher. Just press "Launch Game" (the uppermost button) and the game will start up.
From there, you can start playing! Have fun!

If you have any questions or are unsure about something, please be sure to comment to this thread so that I or someone else can help you out.

Or the easier way without taking up as much space on the Mac, just use Wine and download the Windows version of Steam, install BeamNG with that and you're done... Takes up a lot less space than Windows, and is quicker to install and much easier than having to switch OS'.

Don't know if Wine is different on Mac, but on Linux BeamNG runs absolutely fine with Wine.

Just tried it on MacOS, it tends to freeze and runs at 10fps lower than my windows version.
