Updated my tank chassis thing so it uses two electric motors and the controls from my dual motor controller This is how it drives/floats:
meh a diesel would make way more fun anything else would not be worth an tank chassy and the badest thing the whole feel of a tank is gone... OT:
I'm sorry? An electric tank would make sense if energy storage was somewhat efficient for them. Good torque, silent, way less heat, efficient and simple. Not that this tank has to make sense: It has two electric motors, it floats and has other weird stuff in it. And for me it's nice because they are easy to use in BeamNG. OT:
Ahh, I loved the graphics back then. Lighting looked way more real.. I’m trying to replicate that look with postfx, but to no avail.. :|
ferdinand porsche did already an hybrid one back in 1940 it failed because of overheating the same problem as on todays elektric cars/Vehicles wich need much power the Problems on electric vehicles is the power electric and the inner part of the engines because you cant realy cool them internaly. the wole thing can produce under load masses on heat wich is difficult to cool based on the nauture of the construction. the most evectice way is upsizing so it cools itselve witch she sher mass or spread the power over more smaler engines. if you need power elektrik engines can poroduce realy quick heat its youst a thought you can offcourse let your fantacy free runn its your mod and should make fun sory for bad english --- Post updated --- Buy the way here is the tank i was meaning would be interesting to see something like a hybrid tank like te Porsche tiger the drivetrain is interesting http://tankarchives.blogspot.com/2018/10/porsches-tiger-victim-of-dirty.html OT
dude that game was my childhood. there was this one bug in the SF map where in the large field in the center of the map you would hit a tree after being slammed by one of the cops and your speedo would shoot up to like 200MPH and if you were fast enough you could click the cruise control button and just outrun everything a 200MPH those were the days...
