You think its possible to make rust holes in the car, like the old fullsize mod has? You could also probably make rusty holes in the floor of the car too.

I've changed my mind on closed beta testing, decided to open it up and get feedback.

Download will be attached as a .zip file in the OP shortly.

It's got issues, some major which I'm looking for solutions to, others small. Nothing's set in stone yet, and it's much easier for me to upload patches and edited files.

Sweet, I look forward to testing this. It's nice and refreshing to see a nice scratch made mod now adays, in this era of meshslappery.

Download is attached in the OP.

Let me know if the mod doesn't work or conflicts with anything.

    alright
the only bug i have noticed (i have about 4 mods installed) is slight rear jiggling where it says 'Mazda' on the rear trunk.
IDK if its just me but imma mention it anyway.

    Thanks for the reminder :)

Probably not just you, I've noticed it too in several other mods and it has to do with a minor physics instability. Thankfully it's just in one spot on this mod and not everywhere else.
It's not going to ruin drivability or anything, but anyone with OCD will probably be annoyed by it. It has to do with the fact that the beams in that area are too stiff in relation to the weight of the nodes.

Already fixed on my end. Once I have a significant amount of edits to yield uploading a patch I'll do so.

Oh WOW ! MOLTO BELLO !

Just a short test but it seems to work quit fine. No issues at first glance ( about 75 mods in my game ). :D

It works great for me. Looking over it, the only things I really noticed was no driveshaft (presumably WIP), and the fender mirrors are aimed at the sky, which makes them rather unhelpful. Also, the exhaust crackles a lot, although I'm not sure how much it did IRL. It could probably use more afterfire suppression on the exhaust though.

Thanks for the first bit of legitimate feedback I've received so far :) If we had a useful rating I'd give you one.

The driveshaft wasn't modeled well enough, it was a simple cylinder placeholder from the early days of development, so I simply chose to not include it since it's barely visible under most ordinary circumstances. It'll take an hour or 2 to make a new one, I can fix that easily.

If anyone has any suggestions for aiming the mirrors, I'd be willing to hear them... This is the first time I've heard anyone really be picky about the mirrors, I don't use dynamic reflections so I don't pay much attention to it, but if it's something I can fix I'd like to try to fix it.

As for the sounds, again I'm not as picky about them as some people are, but I'll see what I can do.

I'm listening to feedback, including on the bugs I mentioned already in the OP... And I'd also like to hear any feedback regarding the gauge needles disappearing.

Really beautiful work. Haven’t really tested it out much, but it “feels” nice on the road. Thanks for releasing this!

    3 more things:
hood attachment beams are rather strong compared to the trunk ones
    and
w/ taillights installed they are transparent from inside the trunk.
    and
if you rip the valence off the grille mesh stays in place (not sure if its supposed to do that, just mentioning it)

If you need pics i will post them
    Hope this helps
