Sounds like a plan! Also for those who have particularity weak GPUs you can turn the vehicle mesh off by pressing control L or K (could even do a special section for showing off how many covets you can get, before the FPS levels!) Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
Latest performance updates here from the upcoming Race update Hopefully you can see some increases. CPU: Intel I5-4670k @ 4.2Ghz GPU: Sapphire HD 7970 Vapor-X 3gb Vehicle: Ibishu Covet - Stock Physics on / off 351 392 202 208 141 151 106 117 84 96 51 81 21 69 20 62 18 56 16 50
yes postfx off, and drowsysam ill put those numbers in a table, just after i get home from school - - - Updated - - - thanks for the data, we need more people getting some... i think my family desktop has a crappy i5 i could test...i have to go to school but ill put in that data later
mm those fps with physics off look quite low, I'm around 500 fps with 1 vehicle and physics off with postfx on, or 960 fps with postfx off.
Intel i5 2500k Nvidia GTX660 Both Stock Physics on/off 1 - 88 | 229 2 - 49 | 154 3 - 34 | 117 4 - 26 | 93 5 - 20 | 78 6 - 17 | 67 7 - 14 | 58 8 - 13 | 52 9 - 11 | 47 10 - 10 | 44 I also got a chart (imported from here) Looks like my CPU is bottlenecking a bit.
just checking, thats with all settings turned down, at 640x480, right? dat graph tho also which vehicle was used for that? thanks for the data, ill add it to the tables when i get home in ~5 hours
Yeah, all settings to Low, no PostFX, Ibishu Covet. As written in the OP. If people want to make graphs, you can use this site http://www.rapidtables.com/tools/line-graph.htm
I need to bench soon, I've got a sale on my 870. I love those numbers from the race update Drowsy! Especially since I'm eyeing a 4670k.
Something is wrong in there, how can you get 26 fps with 4 covets while I get 64? I have a slight OC from 3,4 to 4Ghz..., but it doesn't explain such a difference.
just saying i did change the original post to moonhawk and the gavril d series, but ill add another table for the ibishu because it seems like people are posting data for that car as well
Woot :O | I also get slightly lower FPS with Physics OFF than akino's 9500GT D: Just keep the covet, since everybody is already doing that :|
i would be happy to test my new gaming rig, but i need some steps on how(never done it before) its a i5(will find model number when i get home) 8gb ram(can post speed) and a pny 660 graphics card
AMD Athlon II X2 215 Nvidia 9500GT 1GB Both Stock Ibishu Covet Physics on/off 1 - 70 | 226 2 - 16 | 150 3 - 11 | 120 4 - 8 | 100 Gravil D-15 Physics on/off 1 - 65 | 254 2 - 17 | 155 3 - 10 | 115 4 - 8 | 93 (dat fps drop)
thats what i plan on doing -- ill add in all the scores (for covet, moonhawk, and d-15) that have been posted once i get home
i7 2600k at Stock with HT enabled Edit- CPU was at stock speeds. Sorry about that. i think ive put in all the data we have up to this point. thanks to those who have taken some time to get results still can use quite a few more CPUs listed here, the greater the range of CPUs we have data for, the more useful this will be to others, so i say, "We need moar data!" --it looks like most of the data is for the covet, so if you are short on time and have enough for only one car to test, go for the covet i guess (there would be more results to be able to compare to)
