This is just depressing... Do you guys really think I'd release a mod in such a broken state? After 8 months of development, no less? Doesn't it ever pop into your head that MAYBE, just maybe... all these malfunctions are caused by installation errors on your part? The last 2 pages of this thread are more or less all reports of the same basic problems. You got answers, you even got a VIDEO WALKTHROUGH... I can't really make installation any easier, especially if you guys can't follow (elementary) instructions: - Install updated repository mod. - (Optional) Install updated Addon Pack, available in first post. - Clear cache and run the game. Also make sure your game is up to date, some new features such as FMOD sounds are only supported in game version 0.16 and above.
Everyone who is having issues, PLEASE before reporting "bugs" do a simple quick search for the answers on these forums. You can also easily join the Beam-Monsters group. ALL of the answers are there. The mod is 100% in good working order. This update took 7 months to produce. If you are having texture issues, or parts not showing up, YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG ON YOUR END.
ALL OF YOU SAYING " ITS BROKE, ITS NOT WORKING, I FOUND BUG, SOMETHING IS WRONG" STOP NOW, YOU GUYS ARE NOT INSTALLING CORRECTLY AND ARE JUST ANNOYING THE DEV TEAM WITH YOUR STUPID MESSAGES. YOUR LUCKY I CANT CUSS YOU OUT ON HERE BECAUSE THATS HOW MAD ALL OF YOU ARE MAKING US!
Are these guys really getting triggered by someone saying something is broken? lol and i was just asking cause my stuff as been working perfectly then suddenly It stopped working like gez calm down people
All new players installing the mod please go and purge your mods folder if you have tons upon tons of mods they may conflict and cause problems. Copy your mods folder and create a backup before purging of course. A clean install and clear of your cache will 100% work flawlessly, there are no bugs in it what so ever. As mentioned above it took 7 months of testing, bug squashing etc to get to this point and we all have put it through hell and back so any problems are not the dev teams fault.
Yes, When we spent 7-8 months making sure we released a solid mod, and then immediately after release 15 kids start complaining its broken,... yeah its a bit irritating. But i'm sure you wouldn't understand what that is like. If we were "triggered" we would just remove the mod entirely from the repo. Which isn't outside the realm of possibilities at this point.
There are more factors at play that would lead to that decision, however the constant blaming of us for not releasing a "working mod" definitely is escalating the situations.
the people saying this mod is bugged need to rethink how they download things, its been the same way for the past 2 years now. The only issues are you are not downloading it correctly or only downloading the addon pack.
