You can live at my house while you get that sorted out- It looks like they forclosed on your house. Now in a hospital bed, I mutter to myself- "The local police have gotten a grasp on this. I'm transferring back to my desk job and leaving Firwood the second I can."

“Ah shit, here we go again.” Doug yells as the truck spatters the front right side of the already battered coupe, however the only plus side of having such a large ungainly coupe finally came into affect as Doug stood on it, the car acting as if it had never been hit. “We all good back there?” Doug says to Zesty, who groans and clutches his obliterated arm, struggling to stay upright as they barreled towards the hospital. “Great, the staff's still here. I’ll see how far I can carry you... Nah wait we can just drive in this bitch.” Doug smashes his car through the hospital’s wide front entrance, medical staff panicking as he opened the door and helped Zesty get out. (Zesty, your post happens a bit after this one) After a while, Zesty is lying in a hospital bed with his arm in a sling, with Doug smoking a joint in the corner. Zesty voices his desire for a desk job, to which Doug replied; “At least you ain’t dead yet, and are actually employed.”
**A little later in Tennessee** **Driving in a rental Covet** **Sees two cars crash head on, the semi behind swerving and smashing my Covet's roof** **Owch.. Well, you know what they say, out with the old, in with the new... house. Everything's finalized, I sold my home in Beam County, and my job with the local police department worked out well because I moved away just when they decided that they didn't need a detective for a town of 1200 people. I now have just enough money to get by, and I've also decided to take a likely temporary leave of absence from the FBI. I need a little time to get back on my feet. The Pessima should be arriving soon, hopefully the truckers didn't damage it after all the work I did. The next step of my new life is probably to find a corporate job, and sell the truck because I simply don't have a need or the space for two cars right now. But, so far, the new house is great. It fits my needs well, was relatively affordable for property on the west coast, and heck, it's even next to a park. Pretty sweet deal.

I figured I'd do one last sweep of the town and the surrounding areas. Nothing out of the ordinary except at very reckless Pessima driver who gave me the finger.
I decide to call @zestyfolfdude . “How’s everything going up there? Any progress, leads from the feds?”
