Only activate some mods, like 5 mods.

 

activate the mods in small groups of 5

 

Don't do that because that will break the Hopper again.

Isn't that the point? This way you will find out better which mod causes the issues

 

With all mods enabled, try to spawn a hopper. Then, open the lua console (with ~ key) and take a screencap and post it. I might be able to tell what mod is doing it by that output.
