Just wanted to tell you all that I appreciate the progress and hard work put into this mod, we've had a good launch of 1.16 so far. (minus some stuff recently) But overall it's been good. I ask that we all keep a level head with helping the community download the mod and not let our emotions get to us. I have come to realize that we are dealing with kids every now and then that they may not fully understand how to correctly install things. Mike created a tutorial video for the install and hopefully that helps. I just wanted to put some positivity in here since all that is going down.

to be honest, hearing Ryan hammer the throttle when he rolls at the end of this run makes me realize that maybe the sounds aren't too high pitched, and just need a deeper mid and a deeper, rougher idle, this is really crisp footage of Ryan's engine, don't know what camera they used but it captures everything really well, you can even hear the echos at some points, I think we have the highs right as these trucks aren't on the rev limiter the whole time, maybe a slight adjustment to the highs but I think we can make it work with the current highs, if you run the truck in 1st gear it kind of sounds like this

I'd say this truck is really dialed in, running the newest version I haven't come across anything out of the ordinary, anything else planned besides the F150 body or is that really it at the moment

F-150 is in full swing and it's almost done with the jbeam. It'll be around a couple weeks before we see a beta for it though which everyone is hyped about.

Hey guys just wanted to say thanks for the invitation to be apart of this group. Though I don’t know much about modding trucks outside of designing skin files, I am a technician for Feld Entertainment and Monster Jam. there’s a lot of guys here in the shop that absolutely love what you guys have been doing and I can’t wait to see the look on Cotys face when he sees his truck in game

Updated first post with a small, optional pack including the new pick up body under development.

Only one skin available right now (Monster Energy, by @jedipresence), it's a very preliminary version for testing purposes and doesn't reflect the expected quality of the final product.

Please test and report your impressions! :)

cab seems a bit strong and had one time where the bed wanted to be a part of the chassis but it still breaks very nis.

F-150 Body Testing Results (so far)

    Items noticed so far:
    -windshield mesh only one sided

-little bit of a jitter at edges of mesh when parts are detached/colliding (it's still pretty good, rigidity just needs to be boosted a hair).

I know this is being worked on, so as of right now it's very good, I just wanted to hit some tid bits I noticed from testing it so far.

The modeling of the body is very good, I love the larger rivets for the fiberglass they look nice. Nice job so far guys, I'll keep putting the truck through hell and report if I find anything else.

Other than what's been stated I haven't found anything relating to big problems. Overall the body, from what I have seen, doesn't collide into the chassis like other older versions did and if it does collide into it then it is only because the truck impacted hard into the ground or other object a certain way. Every part of it breaks like it's supposed to from what I've seen. It also looks like it fits the chassis pretty well. I really love it and have been waiting patiently for it. I will let you know if I find something that I may have overlooked.

cab is too strong, in fact I can lift the whole truck up by the roof and it holds up, also the windshield is one-sided, other than that it's looking really good

So I started to use mega fs of doom or something like that and found that the body mesh will get stuck on weird landings and crashes.

Thank you for testing! Hope you enjoyed the little development sneak peek! :)

    So, issues... To recap:

    - One-sided windshield: oversight on my part, forgot to flip normals for the inside mesh. Fixed for next beta.
    - Wrong texture applied to rivets: fixer for next beta.
    - Bed side panels inverting/folding: missing panel rigidifier. Fixed for next beta.
    - Supports clipping through panels: will rework tabs to make clipping a less frequent occurrence. Unavoidable to some extent, this workaround should at least make it less noticeable.
    - Sticky collisions (roof/bed sides/tailgate): improved anti-clipping structures could probably help prevent this.
    - Unbalanced panel strength: cab seems to be the worst offender (roof being held on by anti-crush supports), will adjust for next beta.

    :)
