New D-series flatbed?

Will there ever be a New Flatbed for the D-series?

Looking down at the bed looks weird for some reason.
Maybe filling the wheel spaces with arches or just making it a full on flatbed.
I have ideas on how it could look better

• Add rails to the sides
• allow us to have toolbox's under the flatbed
• Have different textures instead of just a wood look
• allow us to have lights on the side of the bed to indicate at night that its a flatbed instead of a Regular box bed
• Let us have the option to put arches over the wheels or have it left like the way it is
• Allow us to have goose neck or fifth wheel hitch on the bed

I hope this could be done because i would love to have a Updated flatbed in the future.
I appreciate the Variety of things to make a cool looking D-series but the d-series seems to not get a lot of love it should.

I agree.

Was actually looking for flatbed parts for the D series as i don't really care too much for the one we have.
Feel like it's strictly for off roading instead of something for work not to mention no rear lights and looks strange with a bumper with the off road bumper being the only exception.

Also with the wheel spaces make it useless for any possible chances for loads.

A flatbed truck hoist kit 5-ton capacity, 8ft. to 12ft. flatbed would be great if i'm honest.

Another uplift i have been looking for was the ambulance box uplift to put on the D series and would fit on all cab variants.

 

they need to fix how it looks give us options honestly, not everyone wants a off road flatbed.

The D-Series has a lot of configs as is, but it could still use more. It isn't it's fault that it's such a versitile vehicle. It seems a lot of people are worried about how cluttered the UI is already. We know we are getting a mew UI soon, and it hopefully will clean up the clutter. The vehicle selector can really be cleaned up if similar configs are put under one option, and the side panel had the options for the specific versions (transmision, AWD versions, LWB versions, facelifts). This would help massively with the D-Series, Moonhawk, and I-Series as they currently are and would allow for the UI to stay neat as more configs are added.

The extended/ crew cab D-Series frame with the single cab would allow for many options. A ramp truck, extended off road flatbed, tow truck flat bed, ambulance, etc...

Really hoping to see a ramp truck someday.

 

I agree, i really want to see more for most of the vehicles but the d-series is the top one. Like a bedliner! so if we have a matte color we don't have to see the inside of the bed staying glossy.
flat beds for different reasons
'hauling
'off roading
farming, ETC.
But this wont happen probably until the future. but all it needs is a mod that involves the things we want.

You would assign a matte black or dark grey plastic texture to it and not have a glossy bed anymore.

It would probably be purely aesthetic, but one could configure a bed liner to have multiple attachment points that would be able to be selected in the config editor or shape it to hold a spare, tools, or any other specialized accessory. It would add a few kgs to the bed as well.

 

DETAIL! and take away the shine to the inside of the bed, i hate how i can see building reflections inside my fucking bed! lol but i like the little details to the vehicles adding a bed liner is just another detail that could be added to the D-series.
And if there was a way to make the inside of the bed not as glossy as it is now, but if i put the rust skin on my d-series i dont want to see the inside of the bed to be shinny and the outside of the vehicle to be matte.

That's the original official flat bed in game. It was replaced in one of the D-Series remaster stages

Its now called the Pig flatbed its not a mod its with the game

 

This flatbed is no longer in the game, it was removed.

 

It is its the old pig flatbed, just take off the external gas tank and rollcage.

You have to have the short bed version.

You must have downloaded a mod that adds it.

 

Then what mod do i have installed to add this
This whole time i thought it was in game.
